"Now I’m not someone who ever complains or a ‘Karen’ so to speak but this was so apalling and frustrating I have to say something. We should’ve known what myself and my boyfriend were in for when we saw a couple walk out before ordering. We were upstairs with a 3 large table of teens who kept walking around, throwing things. But whatever we weren’t too bothered were very patient people. When we ordered we waited an hour. Yes, an HOUR for x1 dough balls and chicken wings We had only started eating them for 3 minutes when suddenly our mains came out. The woman (purple hair) was incredibly rude when she handed it to us. Also… the pizzas were FREEZING Going to Antarctica for a holiday is probably warmer than the pizzas that were served. We asked two separate members of staff for our water and dips we ordered. When we finally asked a 3rd member of staff she didn’t give us glasses for the water and was never seen on our floor again. We paid on the app and left as soon as, staff were ignoring us as we left, no one asked during our meal how it was. No one said goodbye and thankyou as staff etiquette goes when you leave a restaurant. I understand that it was a Saturday night and probably very stressful and busy. But clearly no communication amongst staff as when we left, staff members by the chef station were clearly having a domestic between eachother (awkward)"

"This was our 1st visit on a Friday for brunch. My wife had the Miami breakfast and I had the blueberry pancakes with the Rum Pum Punch (Christmas drink). "unfortunately I found a piece of chicken in my vegan meal, they apologised and cooked me something different, but explained that because the cups are tight together and the cook the ingredients for some dishes (i.e. pad thai) there is a high chance of cross-contamination. that makes me scary what I command now when I go."

"We came here as an after show meal, as a large group of about 16, they took their time to send us the menu in advance so we could order ahead and the food be ready as we arrived. For myself, I ordered the Tandoori Lamb Chops for starter, what arrived was a super tender and super flavourful pair of lamb chops, which I wish wouldn 't have ended as they were just so tasty! Main I ordered the Tandoori Mixed Grill, again... another delicious mix of Chicken and Lamb, full of flavour and just delicious! The sides and accompaniments were tasty. I hadn 't been for an Indian meal in ages, and I 'm glad it was this one!"

"Finally some healthy food prepared with Care in the area! Had to meet a colleague who is into nutrition and I try and be mindful about what I eat/drink. We found this online and had high hopes for it. Had the falafel salad and they had run out of humus being end of the week so quickly made up some more. My colleagues meal was great and we both had coffee and smoothies. Everything is home made and nutrition is considered. Good tasted amazing. Now I know exactly where this is (took a little bit of working out as it’s tucked around the corner of the main part of the estate, I will be using it for working and meeting more often. It’s been taken over by new people from around September 21 so hopefully will be supported as I know lots of people like me who want better fast food!"

"We went to the restaurant and asked to eat outside. We watched people who came after us give orders, eats and leave. We received our order (only two dishes and a bottle of water) 40 minutes later after asking for an update as we were quite hungry. The food was okay but the portions were quite small. The lady who took the order from us asked us to pay before eating which I found a bit odd given we hadn’t even received the order yet. Quite disappointed and felt a bit awkward/uncomfortable. Not sure if it was because we were the only dark skinned there but when I told the lady after eating that it wasn’t okay how we were treated and she didn’t do anything about it. Really sad"

"this cafe is a welcome addition to the otherwise dowdy cafe scene in Watford, which is dominated by chains and greasy spoons. Run by three charming women it serves fantastic coffee the best espresso macchiato I've had for a long time, with great looking salads, crepes, Pannonia, cakes and other sweet treats. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, and real service with a smile. Overall, not Normal for Watford, and it deserves to do really well.I popped in on my way back from the hospital, and will be making good use of this place in the future."

"I visited for the first time on Saturday after hearing about this place through word of mouth. I tried a salt beef sandwich and a toasted ham and cheese sandwich, and I also had a slice of lemon and honey cake, along with some cookies to take home. Everything was delicious, although a bit on the pricey side, but it was worth it for a special treat. I will definitely be returning!"

"During my visit at night, the temperature inside was pleasantly cozy, accompanied by beautiful Christmas carols playing in the background as the holiday season approaches. The staff was friendly and well-managed, ensuring all services were provided efficiently. I ordered a chicken burger with large fries on the side. Overall, the meal was delicious; however, the chicken could have been a bit more tender. That said, the selection of local brewery ales was impressive and would make a perfect accompaniment to any dish. If you haven't been here yet, I also recommend visiting in the afternoon, as the surrounding fields are quite lovely—especially on a sunny day. Cheers!"

"Ordered food on line. Selected food, placed order. Advised that would be just over an hour. We waited over the time stated at time of order. Food arrived, was cold. Items missing Loads of bread and nothing to dip it it! We have cold garlic mushrooms without any garlic dip. Cold falafel without hummus. We have undercooked hard potatos. The kebab tastes nice but it and the chips are cold. An extreme waste of money as most of the food is going in the bin!! Not happy customers! Question is ... was it hot when packed and delivery service let it down ? But then then some were missing bits?! Undercooked potato? Hmmmm .... you decide !?"

"My partner and I placed an order for 2 x paneer and rice and despite normally going to the whippendell road branch we picked up from the high street. NEVER AGAIN!!! Don’t waste your money!! When we got home, there was absolutely no peri peri marinade or sauce. Effectively we bought 2 boxes of dry rice and cheese. When we called to complain initially we were told that, that was how it was meant to be and has always been. We knew this not to be true because 1 how can you sell a peri peri product with no peri peri ridiculous! And 2 we have been Pepe customers for years. They then made out they couldn’t hear us and the line went dead, so awful customer service or should I say no customer service on top of no peri peri... that’s how much they care about their customers. They tell them they’re wrong and then put the phone down on them!!! We called back and shared our thoughts on their “resolution” We were eventually and very begrudgingly offered 50% off our order, not that we even up eating it!!! We will never be going back and advise you don’t go either. We will now be looking for a new peri peri shop so any recommendations welcome : Please see attached pictures...."
