"I had a recommendation, from my travel partner (sister) this was a must see classy restaurant @Juluspromenade 19, 97070, in Wurzburg My first visit, my sister's repeat visit back in both 2006, 2007, 2008. Bavaria, and I agree, for "a fine dining experience" this was in my topten restaurants during 3rd trip from USA to Germany. After walkingaround the city, along the Main river, on a drop dead gorgeous day, shooting film, the two of us, I am male, (non drinker), were fortunateenough to have a choice table for a early dinner, and the romanticatmosphere, from the furnishings, to the multi lingual waiter, tothe excellent choice of fish (I chose Pike, my sister chose one of theother three choice of fish, (carp, trodden, or Waller) and we both had the best asparagus on this 12 day journey in Bavarian Germany !!My sister loved the wine choices, and indulged, and the total bill inEuro's was only $60.30 !!! Date of visit, Wednesday, April 26, 2017. I must say, the male waiter was very detailed, with explaining ourwide choices on the menu, and, he was awarded a generous tip!!! The menu also offers many fabulous Franconian delicacies !!! I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for couples, for a very high class restaurant, for a fine dining experience, and, the winelist, for, the wine connoisseur will not disappoint, the well traveled, asthe hills around Wurzburg are full of wine vineyards in this extremelylovely and quaint compact city at the beginning of the RomantischeStrasse (Romantic Road)."

"during our walks we discovered this gas house. only the smell of grilled gockel attracts you. behind the disc you can see these neat large animals and there are rain traffic at the pickers. in retrospect, we have upset that we have not tried. the gas house is located opposite the mainfranken theatre. in front of the house are a few places. they can be here by tram or by bus. there are some parking spaces on the road. during our visit they were not too much evidence. in the inner one comes through a step, the toilets become flattering. service an Asian “battered” dame with black diocese and logo from the gasthof welcomed us friendly and meant – take a place here. they gave us the cards and we have time to look for drinks. then she asked – to drink – and to our order she said – yes. they quickly came with a nice one and we gave up the order. She didn't really understand us. we showed them on the map what we want and she meant it. then she brought the cutlery and we didn't have to wait long for the food. they came to the table at the same time and she wished us a good appetit. there was no demand under food if everything fits. the empty plates they immediately noticed and thought – let me, had smegd-. she also asked if we wanted something else. as the card remains on the table, we could also tell our manowar desserts or show them. there was one yes and quickly they came with one please nice and the announcement what is. we also immediately shared our payment request and returned quickly with the credit. it was thanked, but a nice evening was desired and there was a friendly welcome. 4 stars eating here there is a card with a few pick-up dishes and of course the giggerl. the menu consists of a black leather cover card with transparent sleeves and a tag card. there was also a porcelain pan on it. the selection is very mixed here. Vegetarian pizza curry sausage meat dishes carving salads chicken chicken from grill steaks noodles children's dishes after dinner children's dishes...... we had two dark weizen at 3,80 € each one cherry water and one williams christ beef at 2,80 € each, pork **** with two beats it was super delicate and also very juicy. the skin crowned wonderfully, only one canvas that had been poured over it when she served soaking. so a part of the crispy skin quickly softens. of a spicy, there was nothing to do, delicious. Even with the soße we could find nothing negative. beautifully dark and strong in taste, bright cumin note and plentiful. there was an additional knife and an orange disc as decoration that could be saved for us. the dumplings had a nice firmer consistency, as we like it. they weren't bad, but the right potato taste didn't get so much. at the other farm was the same decoration. on the orange was still a small petersil, was forgotten to mention. the duke-in species were really nice crispy and still soft inside. here the kartoffels were cost. we think that a finished product, but a very good one, than the seasonal it doesn't miss anything. in order, we have to take this away, we are not home. the sauce is placed over the cut carving. we will never understand. first I crispy the carving and then I soften it with the sauce. tipp from us – serve them the sauce extra and everyone can eat it as he wants. we would say so – the same roast sauce as the other plate. the carving is very crispy baked and in the inner still juicy and tender and also seasonal incl. paning. the reddish we knock on us. very beautiful crispy with great twilly taste. we were very satisfied, it tasted delicious. good things that lie to us because we don't like it so much, but no reason for a kidnapping, it was delicious. 4.5 star atmosphere it is here an older guest house with such a room. "The Luisengarten in Würzburg has always been a good address for me personally. There are not only good-bourgeois German cuisine, but also many Yugoslav dishes. And the latter are particularly attracted to me as I appreciate the Yugoslav cuisine. Only this is such a thing with the Yugoslav food. It seems to be a lot of people to taste German food there better, because especially on Sunday it is always very crowded in the Luisengarten. And almost all of them eat the typical German dishes, such as roulettes and clubs, pork roasts with ..... Once I am on this wave with blurred and ordered pork roasts with lumps, just to realize that I should have eaten jugoslavic. Another time, I tried chips, but that was just kind of too tough and dry and partly literally stuck in my neck. With so many guests, these unpleasant mistakes happen quickly, like a piece of moulded tomato in salad. And of course, that had to happen just when I was there with guests and the place was very praised before. Nevertheless, it always draws me to the Balkan dishes I love so much, and I cannot understand why my companions often cannot inspire themselves. The tastes are now different, but overall the Luisengarten is a very popular address, because otherwise the place would not always be so crowded at weekends. That's what it was. Only the last visit did something wrong. The place was only half full at 13.00, the order was quickly received and the food was already there after not even 10 minutes. As far as everything is within a pleasant framework. But then something for salad: no oil, no vinegar, no dressing to see, just garden and meadow pure. Terrible. Then to my food called National Plate: the pork ends just went like that, the liver was almost cold, the chop didn't fried. Kajmak was thin as milk and the Djuvec rice completely overboiled, almost pale. Lady had soles and pretty much the same ingredients as I and said: Igitt, here I don't want to eat anymore. Today was the day that lets the neglected Greeks appear in an ever so brightly radiating light. And I was so happy. Therefore only 2 instead of the 5 stars."
