"Whoever thinks is it’s an expensive restaurant isn’t for you because importing authentic thai ingredients from Thailand to zermatt is expensive and would raise the price a bit. Other than that I’m literally from Thailand and can confirm that some dishes taste better than from the motherland because the chef is thai. Additionally the food is served in large portions and the decor looks great. Those who complain of not enough sunlight inside the restaurant you should get more sunlight during the day so that you don’t need anymore during dinner time. Desert is also good cuz the ice-cream comes with 2 scoops and freshly cut juicy sumptuous amazingly delicious fruits such as ripe yellow mangoes and succulent forest berries. Finally The waitress that served us not only made friendly small talk but also was so kind that it made the atmosphere in the restaurant almost like home. and I assure you the restaurant didn’t bribe me to write this at all no cap."

"It's a McDonald's, so foodwise there are no real surprises. But the service here is good and the fact they serve the order to your table is actually very nice. £14 English for a double Big Mac meal! In Zermatt, this is one of the few cheaper options for lunch or dinner, but then, if you were looking for a cheap holiday, you'd likely not come here in the first place."

"it was our first visit to disassembled and we had so much luck finding a deal online and staying in the hotel daniela! we loved everything about this being. it started with the friendly and helpful recipe ladies, our room was spacious and super cozy, the wellness facility was tiny, but only enough for all guests to enjoy the sauna, steam bath bubble bath. we enjoyed the breakfast especially as it had a large selection of cold hot products. the location was great, easy 10 minutes to walk from the train station. we would like to go back to distort to stay in this hotel. thanks for everything!"

"Never waited so long to eat something! There are not enough « cooks » there. You had to wait for the guy at one table to finish before moving on to the next. The lobster (Fuji Menu) probably came straight from fashion week because it was thin and lean... Looked more like a large shrimp. For 135. just a disgrace. In addition, nothing is seasoned but simply warmed up quickly and tossed around wildly. We left before Desert because the waiting was just too much for us... It's a real shame for the money and time."

"Located just below Riffelberg Station, you can see the Matterhorn on a clear day, and it's not cold unless there's a wind, so the terrace seats are popular in both summer and winter. You order what you want to eat, take it as you go, and then pay the bill at the end. Bread is 7.5CHF for sandwiches and 3.5CHF for butter pretzels. The salad bar costs 10.9CHF for a small plate and 18.9CHF for a large plate. There were 4 types of soup. Barley soup contains whole barley, which is great for Japanese people when they miss rice."

"We had a mixed experience here. Yes, we did feel sick after having the Rosti and I am surprised to read that other reviewers also had the same experience. Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews beforehand or else I might have decided otherwise. Yes, the place does appear expensive when compared to the ambience and the food. Some of the staff were rigid for sure and this was a bit disturbing, however, there were others who were warm. I would suggest this as a stopover for a quick drink and nothing more. Still, the place was teeming with guests given its great location."

"Leider waren wir zwei Mal in dieser scheinbaren Touristenfalle... Am Mittag auf einen Kaffee. Unterirdisch. Der Kaffee schmeckte als wie wenn ich Zuhause die Kapsel vergesse zu wechseln zwischen 2 Tassen...(Für 4.40). Am Abend haben wir uns das nochmals angetan: Essen sehr teuer. Es gibt sehr wenig für den preis (40 Franken für einen Hauptgang). Geschmacklich war mein Züri Geschnetzeltes jedoch sehr gut das muss man lassen. Aber ich hätte noch einen ganzen Teller runterhauen können, da es so wenig Rösti gab. Das schlimmste bleibt jedoch die Bedienung und das abartig schlechte Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis. Kein Wiedersehen"

"We were staying at the Monte Rosa nearby. Sadly they have closed their excellent restaurant and send their guests to local restaurants in the same group. One of these is the Le Cervin Grill.We were warmly welcomed and the restaurant is extremely pleasant. Staff were attentive...if not over attentive and they suggested to my friend that she may like the sea bass as a main course.We started with salads, which were simple and good. The wine was an excellent Pouilly Fuisse. One of my friends then had a beautiful sirloin steak wonderfully cooked and the other two of us had sea bass, which was fresh, large and well cooked. It was also the special of the day; but we had omitted to ask the price.However, when the bill came, it was far higher than expected as the bass came out at 230 Swiss Francs for two people...well over £100 each!!The moral of the story is that one should always ask how much a thing will cost as we had expected the charge to be well under half the amount we paid. It rather spoiled an excellent evening and it was largely our own fault"

"The number of poor reviews for this place was a shocker as we lunched here and it was a delightful experience! In fact, we would say it was one of the most enjoyable we had in Switzerland serving great Thai food! Service was abit odd as it was the owner (?) herself serving all tables, but we had absolutely nothing to complain about.It was a little confusing trying to find the restaurant as their entrance was not immediately discernible up the narrow flight of stairs, and the weird concept of Swiss and Thai food at the same place. Perhaps it depends on what you order? We loved that there was something different on the Thai menu like the Roasted Duck with Lychees in red curry. We got sizeable portions which were thoroughly filling and truly delicious! We would make a beeline for Helvetia if visiting Zermatt in the future."

"beautiful location with a more appealing view. this is worth at least one point. unfortunately we had to impose on order. we have done several ordering attempts until finally someone came. when we then got our drinks and wanted to pay the same. again we had to do several payment attempts. we did not feel welcome. perhaps because we only drank a bit (it was about 1500.) our main criticism is here only the service. "Gepflegtes, älteres Hotel. Wir wurden freundlich begrüsst, durften das Zimmer auch gleich beziehen, obwohl wir deutlich zu früh waren. Da die Restaurants noch immer geschlossen sind, wurde uns für das Abendessen ein Tisch in einem der Partnerhotels reserviert. Unser Doppelzimmer war stets sauber und durchaus gemütlich. Die Sauna-Area sieht recht schön aus, der Fitnessraum ist mit Basics ausgestattet. Frühstück war gut, wir wurden jedenfalls satt. War sehr schönes Weekend, wir merken uns dieses Hotel definitiv für unsere weiteren Aufenthalte in Zermatt."

"Extremely rude staff. We booked a table in advance, turned up at the restaurant, there were three staff members cleaning glasses, they didn't acknowledge us at all, not even to say hello. We were ignored for 15 minutes and had to fight for attention, at which point they quickly herded us to a table. Not a single smile from the staff the entire dinner. The food was decent, it was good to have some vegan options which is not so common in Zermatt but we were just shocked by the lack of hospitality and rudeness of staff. When we left we said thank you and bye and the staff did not even say bye back."

"Wir waren Mitte April das erste Mal im Fuji of Zermatt und gleich das letzte Mal.Alles hat beim schwachen Empfang begonnen. Bereits zu diesem Zeitpunkt war das Personal am Limit. Ohne Begrüssung wurden wir gefragt, ob wir reserviert haben, was wir taten und danach ging es gleich zum Tisch/Grill. Bevor wir uns setzen konnten, wurden wir bereits gefragt, was wir trinken wollen und die Karte in die Hand gegeben. Im Schnellzug ging es durch den Abend. Zwei Mal wurde der neue Gang eingesetzt, bevor die alten Teller vom Tisch waren. Den Wein musste man selbst einschenken und das Besteck für den Hummer wurde vom Koch gebracht, da es der Service vergessen hat. Das Essen war geschmacklich sehr gut, aber nicht schön angerichtet. Die Köche hinter dem Grill waren lustig und konnten mit den tollen Showeinlagen den schlechten Service und die Massenabfertigung etwas retten. Unser Aufenthalt mit einem 5 Gang Menu mit Apero dauerte gerade 90 Minute.Der Abschied war gleich wie die Begrüssung. Weder ein Dank, noch eine Verabschiedung wurde auf den Weg gegeben, obwohl uns der Koch und der Kellner gesehen haben. Nach uns wurden gerade wieder Gäste an unsere Plätze gesetzt, darum der schnelle Service....Massenabfertigung, welche 300 CHF für 2 Personen gekostet hat.Fazit : Diese Preis/Leistung rechtfertigt nicht einmal Zermatt! Essen war gut, Service/Ambiente sehr schlecht."

"Also ich erlaube mir das mal Punkt für Punkt zu bewerten Einrichtung: sehr alt mindesten 20 Jahre modern bzw gemütlich sieht anders aus Hier kam man sich zum Abendessen nur schwer wohlfühlen Aber warten wir es mal ab Bedienung: er war hier unfreundlich bzw wirkt überfordert naja warten wir das Essen ab Weißwein und Rotwein in Wassergläsern Wir bestellen das Menü ist ja von denen ausgewählt und bestimmt das was die können Gruß aus der Küche Entenleber super fett und wirklich die schlechteste die ich je gegessen habe Brot dazu hart neues Brot bestellt ebenfalls hart ! Erster Gang Lachs (aus dem Supermarkt bei mir ging noch Verpackung dran mit Meerrettich (aus der Tube 2 Leute 3 Scheiben Weißbrot mit eingepackter Butter aber war Ok für fertigfutter 2 Punkte Nächster Gang Suppe Kürbis Creme siehe Bild etwas dünn aber Ok 3 Punkte Nächster Gang: Lammrücken mit Risotto Lamm etwas durch und dadurch zu bissfest Risotto nicht selbst gemacht etwas zu pampig Rotwein Sauce hatte garantiert noch nie Rotwein gesehen ! In Summe war es nicht schlecht und besser als die ersten beiden essen 2,5 Punkte Nachspeise: Schokokuchen fertig aus der Packung ohne Worte 0 Punkte ! Nun die Rechnung siehe Bild ! Normalerweise hätte ich 2 Punkte gegeben aber bei dem Preis gehen sie besser in jedes MC Donalds oder einen Döner essen !Jeder der hier mehr als 3 Punkte gibt war in einem anderen Lokal als ich ! Fazit: Finger weg !"
