"Food : we enjoyed as well the starter (you will have to call it a soup , but I prefer a liquid caress , as the main course (a nice re-visited version of fish chips . Drinks : fish likes to swim! our fish was very lucky : in a white Pinot : an exact adequacy! Service : excellent like usually, the full team is very professionnal! Summary : you will love this charming place, we 'll be back there very soon!"

"Restaurant Wagon Orient Express : Tested this day. Very satisfied. The place is original and warm. Welcome. We are good and we feel the desire to share it. The menu is very limited, but the meal is famous. Chocolate beer, a pleasure for me, can be more to be booked for lovers of soft sweet drinks that do not seek the bitterness of a beer (this is my case). Donum wine (Chile) is excellent. Free Farandole desserts are also very good. Access is excessively simple from the highway: follow the signs Schaal Chocolate Museum. The parking lot is large (this is the museum/magasin). Direct access to Strasbourg (north direction) from the parking lot. Access to the restaurant is made by the insider, just after the store. The handicapped access is suitable for the museum and the shop, you need a minimun of skills to access the Orient Express car (reel), but there is a dining area accessible to the armchairs (salle next to the shop) upstream (horscar). "A pleasant and warm setting all in a relaxed atmosphere, servers very attentive and cheerful, it’s not my first time in this establishment, but I admit that I was greatly disappointed by food! A dish, where there is nothing to eat in it... it would be good to make sure that the munster does not evaporate before leaving the “munster way golden mount” and to find himself with 0.5 cm /1cm of gold to eat .. proof in photo support) Potatoes not cooked enough even after a second cooking, ask for a ham supplement, the black foret nothing to say but the white ham what horror, all gluant ... we would have said German ham... it's a shame because I was never disappointed! "En fin de déjeuner du 22 juillet 2017 et suite à la requête du patron nous lui avons fait part de nos remarques sur le plat que nous venions de manger à savoir un "bœuf gros sel". En effet, ce dernier n'avait plus rien à voir avec ce que nous avions connu auparavant: les crudités qui accompagnaient les 2 tranches de bœuf (d’ailleurs trop cuit) n’étaient plus "fait maison" et râpées du jour mais tout droit sorties d'un conditionnement prêt à l'emploi ! De plus les quantités avaient fondues comme neige au soleil (une cuillerée de carottes mêlées à du céleri, un quart de tomate, 3 rondelles de radis, une cuillerée de betterave rouge). Les pommes sautées n’avaient de « sauté » plus que le nom. Propos accueillis avec arrogance et insolence par le gérant qui affirma que rien n'avait changé, que son statut de patron l’autorisait à contredire ses clients, que seule la présentation avait évolué et qu’il nous faisait remarquer que nous n’avions pas commandé une assiette de crudité mais un « boeuf gros sel » Notre conclusion à cette dégradation des plats + l'agressivité du patron : 2 bonnes raisons pour ne plus jamais retourner à l'Auberge du Cerf."
