A Mandria di Pigna - Menú

fantastic quality of the modern Corsica style especially the aubergine á mandria. they get much better than they would expect in view of the favorable prices.

Delicious! Delicious ! Delicious! If you like meat and a good company! A must! So well deserved the bib gourmand! One of our most enjoyable dinner in Corsica!

we were entered for an ice, we were badly sent away in a very rude and rude way. bad experience, children cry, as they said, ice was finished just in front of a refrigerator full of ice.

Super accueil, le cadre est très sympa, le service est bon. En revanche, vraiment déçus par la simplicité des plats... Ils sont bons mais vraiment trop simples et pas à la hauteur du lieu et des prix. (Ns avons pris un civet de sanglier et la Pluma Iberica)

We decided to have lunch here as their outdoor seating looked inviting. The Corsican dishes were excellent, less refined as on the mainland of France but great in taste. The service was very friendly and they were a great help in explaining the menu in...English. Highly recommendable.

Pigna is a small village in the Balagne region hills in West Corsica. Part of the artisanal trail Pigna has a fantastic restaurant. Recommended by Michelin it did not disappoint. Lunch of homemade fois gras and Burrata and sucking pig and veal stew there...were two of us!! . This is a real gem. The staff were incredibly welcoming. Don’t hesitate to make a date at this place. Lunch reservations taken until 1400 and open again in the evening from 1930.

a wonderful culinary experience. the best during our one week stay in the environment. we came to lunch one day and were so happy with the experience that we immediately booked a table to dinner a few days later. service is friendly and the staff...spoke excellent English, the view from the terrace is beautiful and everything we tried on the menu was excellent. the highlight was without doubt the truffleflavoured burratina. the evening meal also began with local roasted mangles and an amazing homemade liqueur. then they only know the rest will be good. we would like to come back to this jewel!

We came across this restaurant by accident on a trip on the Artisans Route in the Balagne. It has a recomendation from Michelin,lots of positive comments from Trip Advisor and others. The Menu du jour at 32 Euros is not the cheapest but in our...opinion it is excellent value; from the welcoming and friendly staff to the wonderful,tasty food prepared by Madam in the kitchen. They have their own garden at the back of he restaurant from where they get some of the vegetables. The local wine which they serve is also excellent.I normally drink red wine but the rose is remarkable. All in all a gastronomic experience and if you take my advice,a lunch not to be missed!

Had high expectations when arriving at this restaurant but rather disappointed with the food. Ordered duck for the main course....medium....sent it back to kitchen as although it looked pink medium cooked it was very tough. Dish later returned with waitress saying it had been re-cooked....I doubt it! It was not hot and the appearance and 'toughness ' remained the same. Starter was OK...a galette of aubergine....but sadly, again rather disappointing. Can 't now remember my husband 's choices but suffice to say we did not order pudding or cheese and felt equivalent of £100 for dinner with one bottle of wine rather overpriced!
