"I took my mum here for lunch, we had a lovely meal. You can eat in the bar or the restaurant. This is more of a venue than a pub as they have rooms to host weddings and also have rooms to stay in. It's out in the sticks a bit but it's a nice place for a meal. I had fish and chips and my mum had grilled chicken breast. The fish was excellent, really fresh and the batter was super light and crispy. The chips were very tasty I would have just liked the mushy peas to be a little less dry and it would have been perfect. Mums chicken was also very good, she just said that a mix of salad leaves would have improved it rather than it just having rocket with it. I liked the fact I could choose to have a small portion as my appetite isn't huge. Overall, a very nice meal, definitely a step up from a chain pub offering. The place was quiet for a Saturday lunch, only two other tables were in which I suppose is better than lots of noise but meant there wasn't a great atmosphere. I imagine if it's full on an evening or Sunday lunch that's it's very nice. Service was ok and the food came quickly. Service: 4 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Quiet"

"I have dined at this restaurant multiple times and it has always been great. However, last night was the absolute best experience. From the moment we arrived, we were well taken care of by attentive, friendly, and professional staff who were dedicated to ensuring our experience was the best it could be. The menu was tantalizing, making it difficult to choose what to eat, and the wine list was equally impressive. The food was expertly cooked by the kitchen staff, each bite bursting with flavor. The wine selection was excellent as well. The wait staff were attentive when needed but also gave us space to enjoy our meal. The people working at this restaurant truly go above and beyond to make sure guests are well looked after and satisfied. Congratulations to the entire team, we will definitely be back!"

"We had the best stay at Laceby manor in the Rose lodge. The cabin was perfect for our 4 night stay. The fridge-freezer was stocked with Milk and ice, the cupboards with tea/coffee/sugar (and biscuits! ideal for us as we arrived late with no shopping and could still enjoy a morning coffee! The hot tub was checked every morning with no disruptions and the entire site was impeccably clean. We enjoyed a complimentary round of golf on the spectacular course, and had dinner in the Oak room which was equally stunning. We spent hours looking for the perfect luxury cabin holiday and Laceby Manor was exactly what we hoped for. We are very much looking forward to returning in the new year!"

"The food was OK but not great wasn't cheap either but edible, also didn't realise they allowed dogs in, in the same area as ourselves, just not very hygienic in my opinion, I've got nothing against dogs inside but should have there own area like the pear tree has, I was concerned that what if those dogs had, had an accident ie urine or excrement? "Attended a family wedding here recently. The restaurant, the location and the facilities were top notch, I think you would have to work hard to improve on what they have achieved here. However, the bar staff in the first floor function suite leave much to be desired ! Their attitude and reaction to the wedding guests during the wedding reception and evening event should definatly be improved ! It began with the sullen faces of the waiting staff during the reception , most should learn how to smile only one lady waitress blonde hair new starter was polite and smiled give her a job in staff training We asked for a bread roll during lunch, to be told, only for guests who have ordered soup ! Eventually after asking again they brought two over for the brides father... The evening event was a challenge when we struggled to understand why the part bottles of wine had disappeared from the table, when most of the guests were drinking spirits and beer etc. The penny , or should I say the C £17,000 dropped when the waitresses were removing full glasses of drinks from the table without checking! When challenged , the nonchalant response was to place the drinks back on the table and march off like petulant teenager! Our dismay was amplified the following day during a conversation with the restaurant manager told us , that 's what we do, If you need to keep your opened bottles of wine on the table you need to let us know , otherwise they will be removed! oh, so the wine is cleared along with the newly poured drinks too then? I don 't think we, or anyone else we know have ever been to a restaurant and even thought to tell the waiting staff not to take the half bottles of wine away before they have been emptied ? This usual practice was not discussed when we booked ! A cynic could suspect they re sell the newly recovered wine by the glass. This said, the manager did compensate with two bottles of the brides choice , so thanks for recognising the issue. But please consider NOT removing part bottles etc without checking in the first place."
