Our experience at the restaurant was delightful on a sunny autumn day. The only downside was the parking situation. The food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5.

This charming pub has wonderful staff and delicious food. Matt took great care of us, suggesting excellent drink options and food choices. The food was top-notch, service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommend trying the Chocolate Brownie!

I had the vegan Buddha shell with flower cabbage wings as extra. huge bowl of different grains, pulses and veg including some crispy noodles that also gave interesting textures. there is a vegan menu to ask for. a large selection of starters, netzen and desserts. I look forward to going back to try something else on the menu.

I stopped by this restaurant for a drink during a walk in the woods. It was bustling on a Saturday afternoon and had a cozy and cheerful atmosphere. We were fortunate to secure a table and seats, but I would suggest making a reservation in advance as it can get quite crowded. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We were a group with 3 kids, sat by the fire exit which is now being used as a through route by the staff going to the garden tent meaning it was super chilly to begin with. Then the food largely bland and obviously reheated pale potatoes and soggy parsnips etc. Was really disappointed after great experiences previously. Feels like it's gone downhill. Plus it's tired as a building I was sat next to a window frame that had rotted away to leave a gap to outside air!

I took a group of 20 or so people to the Abinger Hatch today. First of all, it 's great to find a pub that is open and serving food on a Monday. Most of us had pre-ordered but the staff were very flexible, accommodating the changes that some people made. The menu was more extensive and interesting than the more usual pub grub and it looked and tasted really good. Not fine dining but it 's not intended to be. It was good food and we felt well looked after by the team.

we ordered the luke nachos that only with a small piece of vegan cheese and baked beans. could have been much better in my opinion. then we had the rustic pizza that I was not enthusiastic about, as she had too many caramelized wobbles on which it tasted rather bitter. for dessert we had the oreo chocolate dirt pot, which was also very disappointing. it was in the ground a few oreos in a glass with a bit chocolate sauce for £6.50 I found it all very overpriced for the quality of the food. will not come back, but I think it is a profi that the pub actually has a vegan menu, was simply not on our taste.
