"I booked a table here to meet friends, halfway between where we all live, having done a spot of research on TA. We were not disappointed. As soon as we arrived, we were shown to our table and menus and water was brought. The staff were attentive and very friendly throughout our whole meal. Service could not be faulted. We all had toasted sandwiches and all were delicious. Having seen the delicious cakes as we came in, we couldn’t resist. They were excellent, too, as were the teas and coffees. Our whole experience was 6* and it’s just a pity we don’t live nearer, as Panaderia Blu would become a regular venue for us. Thanks to Lisa and all the staff for such a lovely lunch."

"very disappointed from the arrival had booked table but still 15 minutes had to wait no table reservation? several occasions brought them false drinks on our table and told them that we did not order and they were another table. I had tapas with 6-7 dressed on the picture, but only 4 and all very mild. had mentioned to manager, but excuse was short personal (very overwhelmed was not impressed no discount neither after the complaining, but give us a free dose limonade?"

"Just recently had new landlord/landlady. Used to be a great little pub, unfortunately not much of a welcome when ordering at the bar, considering they are new, the place has had a white wash makeover with ice white led lights, cold atmosphere, very clinical. And a massive price increase, almost £4 more for two of our usual drinks. Unfortunately not my local any more. *update.... It was a Saturday afternoon, not many people in, yes one decent original staff member, very hard working girl. Was charged nearly £14 for a beer, gin and tonic, maybe she has charged me for a double? Definitely wasn't. The same drinks ordered in the Bulls head was £11 and only £10 in the commercial down the road. As for your new gate to contain children and dogs, good luck with that!"

"Been coming to Naopli in Glossop from over in Stalybridge for about 5 or 6 years now (minor intermission for covid lockdown aside). We first happened across the place when having spent a day at the coast, we didn't fancy cooking and my wife did a search on the Internet and booked us in here. We've probably eaten here 20 times over the last 5 or 6 years and always thoroughly enjoy it. Napoli is a little hidden away downstairs off Norfolk Sq. There is always a good atmosphere and we always leave happy (and full). Food is excellent, usually a couple of additional starter main course choices on the specials board and an excellent range for carnivores, pescaterians and vegans alike. Most recent visit was for an Xmas eve meal with family, and as ever, the steak, lobster ravioli, chicken risotto were excellent as were the starters and desserts (the home made Tiramisu is a particular favourite) Good job we parked downhill from the restaurant as walking uphill could have been a struggle after everything we ate. Value is very good indeed given the excellent quality. The restaurant is fairly compact but comfortable nonetheless. The kitchen is an open kitchen and the work rate of the kitchen team (which often includes the owner) is unbelievable. Staff are always friendly, helpful and efficient. One of our firm favourites to which we will continue to return."
