"Property: Alpenhof in Munich Giesing The restaurant already existed in 1901 and was one of the most famous Italians in Munich in the 80s. 2010 taken over by today owners. Ambiente: Minimalist I would say here. Much white and little heat. I wanted to spend a nice evening with a friend, but after 1.5 hours we had to go because it was unagbarously cold in the restaurant. Although the room was full, no warmth felt. As if the air conditioning system was set cool. Maybe a business model to get the tables faster? Food: We had a mixed appetizer with chicken liver paste, cauliflower with cheese and what with tuna. Made on a plastic plate, with a plastic film on it. It could have been more beautiful. Tastefully a bomb. As a main dish, we grilled tuna and fish stew. Optimal and tasteful at the highest level. I would order that again at any time. A tasteful, great evening. Until my accompaniment came the idea of ordering a Tiramisu as a conclusion. ****. What was that? A simple Tiramisu should rule every Italian. Even my own is better for a galaxy. Optic OK, but instead of a mascarpone cream “sahne”? no amaretto can be seen. Every Italian would get the idea of murder. The dessert was also the rest of the evening, extremely funny in the stomach. Never again. Service: Operation was great, always at the right time. And never too often. 1a WC Parking: The marking of the doors was really funny. I would rather have gone to Ornellla Muti, but I had to go to Angelo; Clean, but very small. Made for Italians, not for a famous Bavarian. And toilet paper to dry your hands when the machine was empty. Unbeautiful parking in Munich! HaHa, that's enough. That's why I'm going to the city centre with a lot of feminine conviction. I would love to give more points as I am usually forgiving and I wanna support places that offer vegan options. But after a long time of waiting they served us pasta wirh parmesan that was clearly labeled as vegan in the menue. We complained and got new pasta but it didn‘t feel as if they were sorry. It’s sad. My pizza was nice.

Staff was very warm and friendly to us and our little girl. Service was on the slow side. I ordered pizza, which was good but not amazing. My husband's pasta was better. They were accommodating about our little girl's special order, which I appreciated as well. I'd give it another try if we were back in Munich, but order something different!
