The grilled fish (dorado) was excellent. Nicely flavored from lemon and spices. Nice location and friendly staff.

I went here with my boyfriend for dinner. We ate pizzas, that were not particularly good but also not bad. The waiter was friendly.

they serve pampered mush. they should be served in a white wine sauce, but they had a bad smell. I've eaten some fresh mushes and they've been spoiled. service was super slow. the workers are all clumsy and confused. Ver carta

A delightful way to eat a meal is to sit at one of the outdoor tables, watching an interesting assortment of people walk by. The food was good, fresh and nicely presented. The wait staff were friendly. The location is convenient.

We had seafood , including prawn and pasta ( probably not the best prawns, previously frozen, ) , but two of us had grilled fish, one dorade and , one fish platter , both large meals with variety, salads, and good vegetables. Seafood was simply prepared and excellent. Wine was very accommodating . Well worth a visit for fish.calamari was great as an entree.

As hungry Mediterranians we ordered some fish at Alte Kunst. The consistency and flavour of the food was rather mediocre. We expected a bit more from an Italian restaurant. Also, we had to wait for a long time to pay, and the restaurant was almost empty. The only thing that we really liked were the calamari, and the terrace behind the restaurant, which is very nice. It should be a 3.5. Actually, we went there as a group and I had read the reviews before, so I did not expect a lot! But I cannot confirm the poor reviews concerning the service and staff. They were very friendly and accommodated us exactly the right way!Unfortunately, the food was average only. The pizzas just OK, noting special. The cannelloni were even cold inside; the good thing were the antipasti and the carmelli.But still, due to the friendly people, we had a nice evening. Prices are fair.

My girlfriend and I ate last weekend at the Alte Kunst Tübingen. It was a Saturday and was "quite" busy therefore we expected a bit of a wait. After ordering the wait was acceptable, however to be served in the first place took a very long time and waiting to pay took even longer - we had to ask and eventually went inside to wait and pay. The restaurant is in a great location in the center of the town and the prices, although not cheap are perfectly acceptable for a centrally located restaurant with good food. By far my favorite restaurant in Tuebingen. Our waiter was everything a waiter should be! The food was authentic Italian and a nice change from traditional German food. We (my parents and I) went three nights in a row; the first night we sat upstairs on a beautiful terrace and could hear the soft sound of a choir rehearsing as we were surrounded by the sweet buildings of old town. The second night we sat on the street and were able to observe Tuebingen life at night. The third night we sat inside and enjoyed Italian music that would make any Italian feel at home (I brought my boyfriend from Italy along this night and he approved with two thumbs up).
