Unweit vom Neckar mit einem Aussenbereich am Ende einer Sackgasse ein ruhig gelegenes Restaurant mit beinahe dörflichem Charme. Das Essen war gut mit regionaler Küche. Der Service sehr freundlich und zügig.

Nach einer anstrengenden Reise wurde es unserer Gruppe von sechs Personen adhoc möglich gemacht,dem tag mit einem deftigen und sehr guten Essen zu beschließen, trotzdem die Scheune wirklich sehr gut besetzt war.

Eine Oase...Wunderbares Lokal mit Flair und Atmosphäre. Drinnen urgemütlich und draußen sehr romantisch mit Blick auf Altstadt und Neckar ohne störenden Straßenverkehr. Die Auswahl und die Speisen sind großartig; raffiniert, frisch und schmackhaft. Der Service ist top. Sehr zu empfehlen.

The atmosphere is traditional German Tavern. The staff is friendly and you will feel comfortable whether you sit inside or out. The food is hearty German prepared deliciously. You may share a table with friendly locals, wandering hikers or all by yourself. We liked it so much that we returned the next day.

Our first night in Neckargemund we managed to get into this popular local bar without a reservation. Lots of happy locals eating and drinking made for a great atmosphere. A very extensive menu of mainly local dishes and the food was substantial and good. Very friendly staff - all round good night. We'll go back to try some of the other dishes.

We were taken here on a boat tour. It was a good stop. First, it was still asparagus season, which meant a number of ways to enjoy this spring treat. In our case, we had asparagus cream soup and asparagus pancakes with a nice sauce. Not that this is a cash-only local, but there is an ATM on the premises. There was a good beer selection as well as wine, befitting the location in wine country. Service was pretty good.

Heerlijk buitenterras, maar ook binnen buitengewoon genoeglijk, zo koddig leuk knisperend ingericht. Ze serveren een variatie aan Schnitzels, elk in zijn soort is super en we hebben er vele geproefd. In combinatie met hun Hefe weiss bier van de tap, onvergetelijk en zo mooi aan de prijs. Je moet hier gegeten hebben, vlakbij die prachtige Neckar. De erbij geserveerde salade zegt al genoeg: overdadig en vers. Ja, ze kunnen het: koken!

Das Restaurant ist nicht sehr groß und daher stehen die Tische sehr dicht. Wenn dann viele Gäste kommen (vielleicht weil die Gaststätte nebenan Ruhetag hat) kann es schon mal eng werden. Wir wurden daher gebeten, an einen anderen Tisch umzuziehen um anderen Gästen Platz zu machen. Der Bitte sind wir gerne nachgekommen und hatten dann einen ruhigen Platz in der Ecke wo es nicht so zugig war wie vorher an der Eingangstür, die wegen der beginnenden Aussensaison (3.April) immer offen stand.Das Ehepaar an unserem Nachbartisch hatte da weniger Glück . At the edge of the interesting old town of Neckargemünd, directly at the bend of the Neckarufer. In a beautifully renovated semi-concrete house, many of which can be found in Neckargemünd. In beautiful weather the restaurant also offers a terrace in front of the actual restaurant, the guest room itself is rustic, lots of wood, the audience mixed flyers, locals, tourists a colorful wood. Everywhere on the walls and in the shelves old dolls also chic pieces like e.g. hat salon, old school house, meat shop, shoe shop... here is really funny to look around.
