"That's the second time, I'm checking the place, and I took my daughter to eat tonight. I started with a kalbtar, and my daughter had a cork carpaccio, both where an absolute joy. the kalbtar came with a potato cream brûlée, which was very innovative and really good. as a main course I grilled on a perfectly groomed salmon fillet. it was moist and barely cooked in the inner and crisp on the outside. my daughter had pannen-tourbot, which was also prepared for perfection. I was too stuffed for the gloomy, so I skipped it and had a shot don papa around. this one comes from the philippines of all places. it is great and impossible to find in the usa. as in my previous review, the place has a great atmosphere. it is a historical building that has been renovated with modern accents. it is not cheap, but appropriate for the quality they provide. old weinschaenke will be my favourite place in the northern düsseldorfer area. I recommend this to the visitors of the düsseldorfer messe when düsseldorf is overrun by menschen. the peculiarity opens a few meters from there next to the old weinschaenke. this new restaurant will be opened in the first april week. I will be home in north carolina, and I have to wait until my next visit to juni or juli to try it. I will definitely inform them when I visited the new restaurant."

Very good food and extremely good service. Family owned and run this is one of the best and especially nicest restaurants in Lank Latum. However, options for vegetarians are rather limited, but the staff tries to find suitable solutions. Can recommend baked goat cheese, which is delicious

the nice friendly waiter was very helpful and made sure that my meal was completely gf, he brought me complementary olives, while my man had the fresh crust bread, then for the main course I had lachsfilet with baby spinat and kartoffels that my man had...vinner shnitzel roasted baby carrots, we both really did eat with the night.
