"we would definitely recommend this restaurant. we went as a family of four including two teenage children and I had previously worried to bring our children into an intelligent French restaurant know that the French do not tend to do this, but we were made to feel very welcome and the friendly waiter could not have been more helpful with our menus. the food was excellent with her steak au poivre among the best we've ever eaten."

Superb restaurante! Next time in Paris I will be back to Astier. The foies gras, the oeuf pochè avec champignon e le beaf were realy great. I really liked Astier.

Booking for 19:00; nobody there. Waited until 19:15; nobody there. Went and ate somewhere else. Had the same experience already a couple of years ago,. As I had plenty of time standing outside to read the menu I noticed that it was exactly the same as last time. Ver carta

A wonderful lunch of standard French food. Price for two courses was 25Euros. I had the Plat and Dessert and my companion the starter and Plat. Veal stew with seasonal vegetables was my choice with their famous self proclaimed best in Paris Rum Baba. It was generous and certainly the best I have had.

this restaurant was recommended by a local, but our experience found the restaurant very overrated. we may not be expected to come back as a visitor and only locals/recurring customers receive the quality. our bill came to 170euros, which would have been similar in england offered over £100.00 it is a shame that this is our first visit in paris and we might have eaten well in one of the many eckcafés.
