"Myself and four friends booked a twighlight spa package which included a two course dinner and glass of fizz for friday afternoon/evening. The spa is lovely although the changing rooms are slightly tight for space. After our treatment, which was excellent, but sadly too short, we then moved over to the manor house for cocktails and dinner which were wonderful! We then walked back to my friends holiday home along the beach leaving our car at the hotel for the night which we had pre-arranged for picking up the next day. One of the girls realised that she had left her jacket at the hotel after we'd picked the car up the next day so we decided to book Sunday lunch at the restaurant as we had been so impressed, however when we arrived for our 12.00 table it was not ready (our fault entirely as we were five minutes early) The lady/maitre d was extreamly grumpy with us, telling us in a very stern tone to go and wait in the lounge. We never saw the lady again (thank goodness) a lovely young chap saw us sitting in the lounge and came over with menus, then taking us through to our table. The menu was almost the same as the friday night menu apart from the addition of a couple of roast choices. Our starters were excellent but unfortunately the roast was very disappointing, the gravy was extreamly watery and the meal overall was bland. The reason that I didn't rate five stars overall was because of our Sunday lunch experience. We will be back to use the spa!"

The restaurant offers stunning views and is just a short walk to the beach. The service is lovely, making it the perfect place to escape for the weekend. The food and staff are also wonderful.

Every interaction I had with the staff was 10/10. Food was beautifully presented but I found the soup to be lukewarm and my pork main was cold. Overall very happy, but I do not think it’s worth £64pp.

Overall we had a lovely evening. Its a tad pricey food wise, but it was a special occasion. It was very hard to get hold of a cab home, so I would suggest pre booking one if you aren’t a hotel guest. Beautifully surroundings and very atmospheric inside .

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our first evening at Baillifscourt. Excellent in every way. If I had anything negative to say, it would be that the Gents loo was difficult to find and quite a long way from the main dining room. Loved it, we'll be going again.

Service was a bit clumsy given the lack of space around the table and experience of staff. No draft bitter so asked for a bottle and the guy brought a Stella. Menu listed green buttered hispi cabbage but came with caramelised red cabbage. Tried to pay at table and was told to pay at reception and then had to stand waiting while new guests checked in? Expect much better for the price.
