"I spent more than a month in montpellier and tried many restaurants. atelier st roch is my favorite. I think I ate there six times and they are open for dinner only! I always had the evening prix fixe menu for 32 euro, which contains a starter, a main dish and dessert. I loved all the appetizers: aubergine with tomato sauce, thunfischtar, pochiert ei with truffle mayonnaise and cute. the most important dishes were also delicious: fish with risotto, thunfisch tataki, pork and bark dishes. for dessert I loved the chocolate with pistachios, but the brioche perdue caramel is easily the best French toast I ever had. the servier sizes are all very generous. atelier st roch is located in the middle of the funny, charming old center of the city. I always enjoyed eating outside, with a beautiful view of the buildings and pass by. there are many great things to do before or after dinner here. I am grateful for the friendly, friendly staff who made me feel at home: the cook martin, the car serverla and the maitre 'd constantin. (he speaks excellent English and has very good wein recommendations). I look forward to return to montpellier and enjoy this restaurant again. I suggest that they make reservations in advance, because the place fills quickly. merci!"

Starters were tasty and very good. We had eggplant and burrata main course's veal was very chevy and felt like bubblegum but the sauce was tasty. My bf had tuna and it was great. Staff was chill and friendly :

a really great restaurant with cheap trips and very talented chefs. after the reviews, it seems that the menu also changes a lot, we went on Friday and had the most delicious food, all fantastic : oktopus starter with chorizo sauce, calf with cartoffelmaisch, st pierre fish with creamy risotto, pineapple meringue dessert. all quite different, all mouthwater and very, very reasonable at €25 for 2 courses. we ate down in an elegantly decorated cellar, it was really nice. only a few points, the child menu was limited to fishfilet so not much choice there, and the service was ok, but I had warmer: the waitress was good, new and really try the best, but on the until a little short when I was bill...
