"Au Bon Acceuil in French means 'To a Good Reception '. When I walked in off the street to see if it was possible to book a table for two for Sunday lunch, the reception was negative. From what I could see, it looks a nice place with the menu given in English as well as French. There were good kitchen smells on the air, but that is as close as I 've got to sampling anything.! The location is of great historic interest, photogrenic and picturesque. A large eleventh century church (recently restored) has great presence but (rather like the restaurant) you can 't actually get inside it unless you can find someone local who has a key! The church is surrounded by the ruins of an even older convent and an early medieval footbridge for carts and cattle still exists, spanning the river, and you can walk across it. But watch out for the uneven, ancient stones. The area just outside the little village is seriously blighted by wind turbines but they are not so apparent when you are in the village and near the church and the ruins, not to mention that very tempting little bilingual restaurant known as 'Au Bon Acceuil '. Maybe one day it will be possible to get in. They are clearly very popular with their local clients and other people from nearby but I would suggest they seriously consider serving morning coffee and afternoon tea for grateful tourists passing through. Just a thought, 'Au Bon Acceuil '.."

I went to lunch in this restaurant last Friday. food is excellent, the atmosphere is great (it was complete so it was a good job that we had reserved) and the service is both fast and extremely friendly. 12 euros for 5 delicious dishes, wine included, it is not bad, only for the size! Take all our visitors.

One of the best meals/atmosphere we have ever had! 12€ 5 courses wine and coffee. No wonder it was absolutely full of locals having lunch. All home made and delicious, set menu so we just sat and wondered was was to be dished up next. If you want POSH do not bother, but if you like local atmosphere this is the place to come!

we visited this restaurant several times and he never disappointed us. the lunch menu is cheap to 13 euros. there is no menu - you get what's getting ready. Today, floods in the entrance, then their home paste with pickles and a quiche. the main meal was pork in a prune sauce and a choice of desserts. I got a lemon pie. the wine is included - a full bottle if you wish. Quick service and friendly staff. many inhabitants and farmers eat here - it is essential to book in advance.

this restaurant was recommended by the seating people in which we stayed we reserved a table (recommended) the dining room was very busy with French and English guests. the menu is fixed for the day and was a surprise a bottle of water and a bottle of wine on each table first a bowl of salads with potato salad, a beet salad also a couscous salad with a basket of bread followed by a turin of pastry with gerkins and a slice of quiche each was eating as much as you wanted, then came the main dish of this The wine was most pleasant and even my wife drank it and she doesn't like red wine? all this for 13,50 euros. Would I recommend it?.Yes I would return? We were doing it!

Thanks to katia and franck for the reception and honesty of their establishment. varied and new cuisine every day, simple products (in week), well prepared and good. In the evening, when one has the chance (in relation to the number of rooms restricted) to be accommodated in their small (but not less comfortable) hotel, the meal is simply held at the family table and without chichi. this stay for me, has been most pleasant and unforgettable. I had the chance to be here for the anniversary of franck, passionate about his profession. I felt like I've known him for so long the relationship was simple and warm. We must not forget katia and its efficiency. In summary: a family of pro, warm and th...

Whenever we're in the area we try to fit in one lunch here; the workers' menu is predictable but oh, so good. Bread and wine included, start with potato salad, tuna rice salad and coleslaw, move on to a hearty pate, as much as you can eat, served with a slice of quiche and cornichons. Along comes your main dish, meat usually and cooked over the open fire, served with some kind of carbohydrate. A cheese board, laden with several varieties, is passed to the table. By now, you're pretty full but it is time to choose a desert, home made again and the list always includes a fruit tart, isles flottant, a cake with creme anglaise. And all for 12 euros! Amazing. Particularly pleasing are the ladies...
