"Very well, eat well, but we were eager to take orders, with dessert and wine, not the time to say oaf! And I have nothing to say, the waitress or the boss I don't know, I said I don't have time! You have to tell me now! Maybe she did her training or is learning in the back, she's too used to say the office people say the full menu right away, given the price of the dishes, a little cool at the service level could have come, because don't forget that it's the customers who make your salary! otherwise the level of kitchen has nothing to say, up!"

Good level restoration. service too fast. wine given in tasting while the aperitif is in progress, as well for the entrance served before the end of the aperitif.

beautiful and romantic setting, pleasant service and excellent cuisine. only flat: the amount in the plate is a little fair, and it's a good damage because really good. do and do again!

I recommend this restaurant. the setting, near the saone, is charming and relaxing. the dishes are good and well present, the prices are reasonable. only flat, waiting between the dishes that are very long. Take your pain.

we had the opportunity to come my wife and myself a noon a week in April and we loved it. confident, I've booked for four. honestly everything was good in the bib menu however we all found that the dishes were minimalist. I still look for the vegetables in the main dish with lean and the fish portion was really too small! in the end, we went out of the table after a menu at 36 euros with hunger. It's really a shame because the restaurant is on top with two beautiful terraces. To finish, the staff is very pro

"We stayed overnight near Villefranche and found this charming restaurant on trip advisor. We thought the satnav had taken us to the wrong place when we drove onto the trading estate but there it was. La Table de Maxime is nicely furnished and we were warmly greeted by the owner we were too early as he doesn't open til 7.00 but we were offered a drink on the terrace. The choice on the menu for each course was small good for us though as we eat most things and it made the choice easy. We had the samosas to start excellent I had prawns and my husband had steak, perfectly cooked. The accompanying vegetables were really good a vegetable parcel with the steak and quinoa with celery, peas and asparagus with the prawns together with a delicious sauce. In all, a very good meal and two empty plates. We were the only two customers not usual from what I can gather but it meant that the owner/chef gave us his time after the meal and we had a good conversation (his English is much better than our French! . All in all, a good evening and a great meal. The miserable exchange rate meant it was quite expensive at around 100 euros with tip for two courses each (we skipped dessert plus water, glass of champagne and two beers, but that's not the restaurant's fault Brexit has hurt our pocket badly this year on our annual trip driving down to the south of France!"
