"Der letzte Aufenthalt vor meinem eigentlichen Ziel Frankreich ist seit einigen Jahren das "Valuta", ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant mit angegliedertem kleinen Hotel. Das Ambiente ist eher rustikal, aber mit Charme. Der Gastraum ( es gibt auch separate Räumlichkeiten, z.B. für Feierlichkeiten ) wird dominiert durch einen großen Grill, befeuert mit Buchenholz. Wer Fleisch mag, sollte unbedingt ein Rinderfilet oder Entre cote bestellen. Man wird nicht enttäuscht, versteht es doch der Patron das Grillgut genau wie gewünscht auf den Punkt zu zu bereiten. Dazu die leckeren Pommes frites und die hausgemachte Pfeffersoße und fertig ist das perfekte Steak, welches sich in einem Steakhouse in dieser Qualität schwerlich finden lässt. Als Vorspeise ist der Vorspeisenteller oder die selbst gemachten Pasteten zu empfehlen, alles, wie auch die anderen angebotenen Gerichte stehen in einem sehr guten Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut besucht, viele Gäste kommen aus dem benachbarten Frankreich, welches auch Rückschlüsse auf die gute Qualität zulässt. Trotz Andrang und Stress ist der Service sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend, ja man geht auch auf machbare Sonderwünsche ein. Ich, als Weinliebhaber, würde mir wünschen, das einige hochwertige Gewächse aus Frankreich auf der Karte stünden, doch man kann nicht alles haben und der Patron muss sich ja auch nach dem Geschmack der Gäste richten, die sein Lokal öfter als ich besuchen ( bin in der Regel 2 x im Jahr im "Valuta ). Ich kann diese Lokalität wärmstens empfehlen."
