Auberge des Templiers

The food was excellent and the presentation was stunning, especially of the blue lobster risotto and the signature souffle

As we were also staying at the Auberge, visiting the restaurant was an obvious step. We're glad we did. We had a most memorable meal, a roller coaster of tastes and culinary experiences, topped by impeccable service and a lovely view to the garden.

Very nice sunny weekend in a nice junior suite : beautiful pool and gardens - nice food (deserve 1 star for sure 0 and maybe 2 if the service was so disorganized … as a relays et chateau the auberge need to improve on its service staff by professionalizing it quickly Ver carta

We had a great time for our first meal at "l'auberge des templiers".Food was really good and tasty, it's a pleasure to eat but also to look at the food!We also had a great waitress named Lourdes who is really nice and always smilling, the meal is even better with happiness !Thanks to everyone

After a cool cruising through the Puisaye ( a sologne with hills), what a surprise discovering the auberge very closed from the famous Nationale 7. But, we stayed confidents in our choice and entered in it. A very cool groom , red jacket and a large smile, helped for the luggages. It was the beginning of a very high level travel . We have eaten at the restaurant at the Auberge during two previous stays. Our recent experience across two separate dinners was not very good. One night we had to wait 20 minutes to receive menus and a full hour before being served our first course. The foie pate served was as unremarkable as the tinned bloc of foie we bought at a supermarket. The spider crab appetizer was so cold (previously frozen) when it was served it had no flavor. One night there was a large party for dinner (set in a separate room), but the dining room was not particularly busy on either night of our stay so both the kitchen and service should have been able to keep up. Driving from Fontainbleau to Boismorand seemed to be a simple way to get into a Michelin starred restaurant during a holiday season that finds most sought after restaurants closed...it wasn't! Outstanding restaurant at this Relais Chateau hotel property. I am not sure which was more rewarding, our stay at the hotel or the dinners there. The restaurant is large, with multiple inviting rooms. We were there on a Sunday night (packed with every table filled) and the following Monday (much more quiet). In both cases service and food was impeccable. We have come to have high standards and expectations for the Relais Chateau restaurant and hotel properties, and this one lived up to our expectations. We heard about this restaurant from friends and decided to try it. Auberge des Templiers is a lovely Hôtel steeped in history.The restaurant must be short of staff or they were distracted that night. We booked a table for 9pm. The waiter who guided us to the table disappeared suddenly leaving us stranded in the dining room. When we got someone else to assist us, we were finally seated.The sommelier who took the order came back half and hour later looking very puzzled and asked us what wine we ordered?
