"Fred Astaire isn't exactly, but I've been going to regular training with my wife for a few years now in a big Dresden dance club. Every Friday we meet with our Boggietruppe in a Dresden gym to learn and practice conditioning, steps, different dance variations and certain dance episodes. However, since all this happens on a hobby basis, it is tradition that for the last training of the year the ladies make the Dresdner Striezelmarkt insecure, while we gentlemen try us in the indoor football. Ristorante Ausonia In the same way, it is tradition that ladies and gentlemen meet on Königsstraße following the “Training” at Ristorante Ausonia. Like this Friday night. After we had celebrated our victory in the hall very quickly and were freshly showered, several veterans humiliated towards Ausonia and were glad to finally sit there. Entrance to the restaurant Why the Ausonia? The girls like the decoration in this place. For Christmas, hundreds of Christmas men are draped in different sizes throughout the restaurant. Christmas men, all over the local Christmas men But not only for Christmas is the whole shop so full, at Easter there are the corresponding rabbits, the rest of the year animals and dolls of different Couleur. Who's liked, well. Otherwise, the place is quite rustic, you sit on the padded chairs quite pleasantly. Christmas decorated The menu is the same as the Ausonia on the new market, right next to the Frauenkirche. Even the prices are the same, the Königstraße is not necessarily a cheap pavement in Dresden. The menu included 24 appetizers like the usual antipasti, salads and soups. As main foods stood there and write 30 different pizzas, 16 pasta dishes as well as various carne (meat dishes) and pesce (meat dishes). For our troops of more than 30 people, a waiter was specially hired, who had such his dear need with us, but ultimately somehow managed to fulfill our food and drink wishes, even if it sometimes took a little longer. Our long table with open kitchen We decided to drink as drinks: · 1x 0.2ér Tonic for 4.30 € · 1x 0.5ér Benedictine yeast wheat for 6.40 € As food it should be: · 1x pizza Ausonia with olives, sheep cheese, peperoni, sharp salami, cheese and tomatoes for 13.50 € · 1x pizza ricotta e spinaci table with spinach, ricotta, Italian cheese When that was done, he gave to the kitchen, which could be seen from the guest room, a wine that the pizzas and pastas can now be prepared. As with the running conveyor, the pizzas came to our table, and everyone had their food in front of them after a pleasant waiting period. Unlike our experience with the other Ristorante Ausonia II, we were very happy with our food. My wife had decided to make the Pizza Ricotta e Spinaci. On a thin, crispy fluffy soil, spicy tomato sauce was spread over a layer of spicy spinach and mild ricotta. The whole is garnished with cocktail tomatoes and Italian hard cheese. My Pizza Ausonia was also equipped with a crispy ground and a narrow edge. On the outskirts, the “Röstaromen” of the pizza oven were clearly recognizable. My pizza was also documented with a thin layer of a spicy tomato sauce on which several slices of a thin, sharp salami followed. The sharp taste of the salami was well hidden by the spicy strong sheep cheese, which was abundantly distributed. Garnish with a few black olives and mild peperoni. Here it would have liked to have been a few green olives and then rather sharp peperoni. Pizza Ausonia with olives, sheep cheese, peperoni, spicy salami, cheese and tomatoes The evening went for a while, and the immediate woes of the gentlemen first passed, whether the certainty that the one or the other next day, whether a strong muscle cat can safely move badly ????????? Our conclusion: we left €37.70 for two pizzas and two drinks at Ausonia on Königstraße in Dresden. Unlike the counterpart to the Frauenkirche, we were very satisfied with the food. Only the ambience, of course."

We were sitting outside in a very comfy patio, the wait was very nice. Service was good. The portions aren't too big and the food tastes okay but is nothing special. Toilets are very acceptable as well.

This restaurant has a lot of choice. We took a large whole fish and a lot of salat. The fish was good but the salat was rather big for a normal person. They have Italian music and a screen with movies. Good atmosphere. Ver carta

delicious pizza and good wine made our first time in ausonia a very pleasant experience. our waiter was very friendly and helpful and they had English menus as well as German, making the choice under a very good list of pizzas much easier.

4 adults looking for something light and warm before our next tour, and this place was perfect. we all have a bowl suppe that was perfect. they had 3 choices tomato soup with sawn, kartoffel soup with sawn and minestrone. we ordered one. others, my favorite was the potato soup. the bowl and the side of the broth sufficient to satisfy our demand and warm us up.

I guess when you have a wonderful location, you can afford to have mediocre food and service. At least that is my take on Ausonia. I ordered vegetarian lasagne--big mistake--and didn't even bother to take the leftover portion with me. My husband ordered a pizza...and it was average at best. It is rare that pizza doesn't hit the spot. This seems to be an Italian restaurant in name only; it lacks the wonderful flavors that are at the core of Italian cuisine. Additionally, the servers seemed disinterested from start to finish. Ver carta

This restaurant is well located with a very pleasant terrace which was quite full on the Saturday we went. The food was good, but not outstanding. I tried the spaghetti Carbonara which I enjoyed, and my son had a pizza which he liked. We had...set our sights on some desserts that looked delicious, but it was simply impossible to get the ONE waiter's attention to order, which was quite frustrating. The poor chap simply could not handle the large number of tables he was assigned, so when he finally came over, we just asked for the bill, as we would have lost another hour of sightseeing if we had eaten dessert.

To take a break from heavy, meat-oriented middle European food, my wife and I had dinner at Ausonia. We looked at an online review which praised the restaurant but we should have checked Trip Advisor also. The staff is friendly and the interior is nicely...decorated but the food was average at best. The tomato salad with pecorino cheese didn't have pecorina cheese. It was covered with chunks of feta cheese; okay at a Greek dinner but not an Italian restaurant. My wife's scampi provencale was generous on the shrimp but bland and lacking the taste of fresh shrimp. My lasagne marinaio was the best of our three dishes. It was a deconstructed lasange with seafood and sauce on top of two lasagne s...

"On our relatively spontaneous journey to Saxony and Thuringia, Dresden was of course also on the programme. In the Saxon capital I can regularly travel professionally, but for my loved one it was the first visit and of course also the magic of Elbflorenz worked with him. Only this beauty there in the crowd can be something overwhelming and particularly time-consuming. It fits perfectly into our daily planning that the enjoyment studio opens its doors for a gourmet lunch exclusively on Sunday. For a long time I wanted to enjoy the youngest star restaurant in the striking and pale taste of Dresden. on and out were relaxed, cost-effective and wine-friendly with the tram; the stop is only above the intersection. Of course, we didn't let it take us to admire the Waldschlösschen bridge, which is very close to the Dresden Elbtal, a UNESCO World Heritage site. I found the vaulted construction quite apart, but whether quite or ugly, traffic necessary or tax grave no longer to discuss. We turned them back, saw the river left in the most beautiful midday sun, in the distance the Canaletto Panorama and on the right side the impressive Imperial Age Villa, in whose souterrain the siblings Marcus and Nicole Blonkowski want to offer according to their own estimate “Creative cuisine from the finest!”. From the main entrance several steps lead to the restaurant. A door to the garden could display a flat entrance; Unfortunately, I forgot to see it. Arriving in the cellar vault, we immediately felt comfortable. The warm sandstone walls, brick ceilings, some daylight from obliquely above, supported by many lamps, and above all the breakthroughs between the rooms create cosiness without “lit” effect. This is also countered by the clear furnishings, the rich lilac of the cozy club chair and modern art. Our hostess functioned professionally and politely in the service, our wishes were received, even in the menu that was actually requested on a table, changes in number and composition were possible without problems. A supportive young man was already on the way to good service and at the end we met another gentleman who impressed us with friendly sovereignty. All my powers are included in the assessment. We chose both from the two lunch menus 5 courses for very cheap €64! and after this responsible decision “deserved”. Ruinart rosé is presented in a glass-like studio. This is not exactly the cheapest bottle fermentation from French countries, but 25€ per glass are already an announcement for a non-year in Germany. Factor 3 or more will generate costs as a contribution to coverage. Lunch break “Mischkalkulation”. In order to save the owners, it should also be pointed out that otherwise "payable" prices are mentioned in the special wine card. More. In advance, it is necessary to report a real annoyance of completeness and truthfulness, although I am probably resurrected. But we were served a sparkling wine that tasted like sleepy feet. Almost no more perlage. You could taste and even see at first glance. And we were the first guests on Saturday at 12 a.m. with the opening. What else can I assume when the bottle was opened at Eve and was not even optimally stored? Obviously it hurts economically to write an almost complete bottle of Ruinart. But either this should be in the lush calculation, or you can help lie in the evening with a little trouble before you uncorrect something new at the end. But the next night is rehearsing the standing stuff? This is stepless and does not fit this otherwise convincing star restaurant. There was a fresh substitute for inconspicuously informed criticism without marmots, but also without insight. This even disturbed the sweet fan, otherwise the mother Teresa of restaurant criticism. This explains the evaluation for the otherwise very good performance in the service. Cut the theme. Back to the extremely evaporated wine map, whose only 12 positions plus a number of open almost completely rely on Saxon products, with some Saale Unstrut. At least for me almost only unknown names. This is a courageous concept of regional support that must be respected. Of course, not too much capital is placed in the basement. Whether this is the reason for the friendly prices can be doubted. Perhaps an additional promotion of local winemakers and their beautiful drops? Either way, when you call from about 30€ to less than 50€, some speak for a second bottle. In the very early hour of the day we enjoyed a Pinot Blanc from the steep slopes of the Meissen Winery Mariaberg €38. By the way, the wine is cultivated by Stefan Bönsch from Dresden Langebrück, whose own sweet but surprisingly complex barn plant S convinced us on the recommendation of Mrs. Wirtin an dessert and cheese. Of course, the bottle of the Saxon mineral water at the end of the summer was stolen by 5.9€, now by 50 cents more. The bare tables were clearly covered. Nice misconduct, but a flat drawer in the table was well sorted... A fresh Brie foam with crispy artichokes and clearly accentuated love was hidden under a coral chip from red prayer. No eucalyptus, but still... On the other hand, a cube of forest mushroom and truffle sluice that seemed good, instead of penetrant. Both have been absolutely successful. The loose olive rosemary muffin also fell and went with the accompanying tomato butter to the first plate that followed the love apple in textures and temperatures. With Mozzarella ice cream and various good-lived herbs, Marcus Blonkowski played with the theme Caprese, to which he added Olive. It followed an intense essence of beef, class in meat flavor that the service at the table angoss. Thus the insert, actually a two-layer, had its solo appearance: a large cannelono in braid or perhaps a leaf optics filled with shots from the rose. And a gel roll of white port with vegetables Brunoise and Crème of red port. The alcohol and fruit notes on the meat of the broth were again a hand-made interesting modification of known taste patterns. This band is also very beautiful! As an interlude I had moved to the vegetarian department to tastefully strong, sadly some sandy plums along with their handmade "declinations" and crispy fresh asparagus on a thick slice loose napkin noodles. And of course the mushroom. And of course with the foam of butterflies! both later poured and added dropwise to Pallhuber"
