small restaurant on the Ile de saint louis very well furnished in a style that recalls centuries away. despite this attention to space. Typically French menu well executed without particular excellence, at least regarding the dishes we chose. impeccable and courteous service.

for the best in warm, friendly service and incredibly comfortable, tasty eating do not see further. if all the prices are too low for the quality of everything decor, service and eating are all the top cook! if they are looking for their movie in paris, it will happen aux anysetiers du roy.

we went into the bistro and thought it was very dated and wondered why the great reviews. well, we were so surprised at the rhymes, quality and presentation of food, we had thought that we were eating a star in a michelin. we chose to eat from the perigord. it was more than we expected at a reasonable price.

we ate here about 20 years ago, it was excellent then. now, it was at least as good and perhaps even better. Escargot-Starter was amazing, and the cassoulet was completely excellent. aux anysetiers du roy is a very traditional French restaurant with excellent food and service. make sure to make a reservation and there is no English menu.

Want to fell like you are in an auberge on the country side? This is the place to go. Homemade french comfort food, extremely lovely service. What a nice evening we spent dining here. Felt welcomed as if we were longtime patrons. We had lovely food and Lillian was a delight to talk to. Felt so welcomed. We had walked by during the curfew and had gotten hot wine from the ‘window’ and always wanted to come back when the restaurant was open. The same charming person that we met getting the hot wine was serving us. Great experience and we will surely be back.

First ones seated at 1830 on a Sunday. Shortly thereafter, more patrons. Everyone was either American or Canadian. We had a carafe of wine and two local beers. We ordered the goat cheese salad and onion soup to start. Salad was fairly good, but sliced goat cheese on white bread diagonals. Not warm or grilled. Onion soup is served with croutons and grated cheese on the side. The soup was hot and fairly tasty. Main courses ordered were beef bourguignon and salmon with lentils. The beef was hearty, plentiful and served with carrots and potatoes. Sadly, the potatoes were cold. Appears to be a heated up dish. Would have been fine if served hot.
