Amazing Breakfast, deffo recommended! We booked up for dinner next week after tasting this delight! Wowsers! ???

Dangerous. Down right dangerous. Worst experience ever. Staff didn't have a clue what they were doing. I won't be going back.

Had a Chicken Sawarma, tasty and healthy delight at excellent prices great to have food again in the best boozer in Bathgate ? Ver carta

The chicken and veg and chips were ok but the dry powdery lumpy mash was really bad. My friend had to mix it with the sauce on the table and even then it wasn’t very nice.

Good friendly pub to socialise in.Parking is easy at night but difficult during the day.Taxi's in Bathgate are really reasonably priced so get a taxi and enjoy the good bear or wine with your food

New chef, new menu and very good value. Some nice nice twists and touches but our faves were goats cheese salad and the fish and chips. Does what it says on the tin. Great staff too but then, it is my local. Ver carta

We had the Balbairdie and Katsu burgers. Both very tasty and they threw in a free Halloween doughnut as well. Ordered through Facebook and collected at the door with social distancing adhered to. Will be back to try the Shawarma at some point ?

The Balbairdie used to be a great wee pub with a great atmosphere but lately it has really gone downhill. The drinks glasses didn’t look very clean the last time they we were there 2 weeks ago) and twice my husband has been sick after drinking in here. I drank coke straight from the can as the glass didn’t look clean so I wasn’t sick). It’s a real shame as it used to be such a nice pub. I don’t think I will be going back until improvements are made. Ver carta
