We stopped for late afternoon drinks, prices reasonable, but waiter rude abrupt. Toilets were not clean. Wouldn’t recommend.

Stopped here with my wife for coffee and hot chocolate. Pleasant back street place that are now hard to find and not modernised for the tourists.

A éviter de toute urgence! Serveuse horriblement désagréable, sournoise et vulgaire!!!! Une honte, elle devrait apprendre la politesse et le respect!

Des tartines,des salades, des planches, quelques plats, des vins bio. Pour l'ambiance parisienne et la terrasse sur une des plus jolies places de Paris.

Dropped in late after supper elsewhere. Perfect for a couple of glasses of wine even received the option chilled or room temp. Unusual in non specialist bars. Nice ambience, music to my taste !! , very quiet square, good service, etc. Ticked the Paris expectation boxes.

We arrived a little early (6:30) for our dinner at Chez George (Rue du Mail) and decided on a drink at this inviting neighborhood place across the street. Service was friendly. Bartender made my wife a great drink. I had a glass of Merlot. served a basket of great potato chips with the drinks. wonderful atmosphere. Not a word of English spoken but bartender made us feel like special guests.

We were staying at the Timhotel round the corner for a few days. We had a drink and a meal here at the end of most days. The staff were so friendly and helpful, treated us like special guests, making our visit to Paris more personal and enjoyable. The food was good, served promptly and always with a smile. Drinks mostly came with nuts or tasty snacks after the first visit made us feel like locals! Its just across the square from the Basilique de Notre Dame des Victoires, so we sat and watched kids playing scratch soccer, beautiful people going to and fro lovely.

This compact friendly bar just around from Place des Victoires in the 2nd arrondissement is well known by locals and adjoins its own patisserie & boulangerie retail shop. The succinct menu embraces all one could wish for lunch with a good selection of tartines [fantastic bread], blackboard daily suggestions [today including a faux filet with a roquefort sauce and an aubergine & mozzaerlla with pesto tartine] as well as salads and the old favourite cheeseburger, spelt just that way. And of course the expected croque of both sexes. Our choices were the cheeseburger [bien cuit recommended], the blackboard special aubergine tartine, and a rare roast beef and mayonnaise tartine.
