Bar Grill Restaurant

Apart from the now de-rigueur need to find as many ways as possible NOT to serve food on a plate...the food was very tasty and portion size reasonable. Service was good. Carling lager was tasty (this is rare! . No outdoor provision for anti-social tobacco addicts.

We booked my father in laws 80th birthday dinner in the restaurant and can't fault it. The restaurant manager Conor was very helpful in planning this , the food was superb and the waitresses Sarah, Lisa,Carol and Charlotte were very attentive and helped make the day a memorable one.

During my one-night business trip, I dined at the restaurant in the hotel. The menu was diverse, and I ordered the garlic mushrooms as my starter and the Singapore chicken as my main course. The dishes were served promptly by attentive staff and tasted delicious. The next morning, I enjoyed the Scottish breakfast, which was also delicious.

I had a fantastic meal during lunch at this restaurant. The scallop with black pudding was delicious, and the grilled steak salad was excellent. I also tried my dining partner's chicken dish and it was fantastic. The staff provided great service, and I would definitely recommend Garfield House Hotel for their wonderful variety of dishes and exceptional service.

Although we did not stay at the hotel, we decided to dine at the restaurant. The menu was not extensive, but there were plenty of options to choose from. I ordered the chicken starter and the steak pie, both of which were delicious. My partner opted for the pate and the shin of beef, and we both left with clean plates. The service was good and the staff were friendly.

Staying in the Garfield and ate at the Bar Grill several times. The menu is not massive, but the food is of excellent quality and I think I can safely say everything I ate was to my tastes. Apologies to the lady I just beat to the last helping of mussels! Staff are good as long as it doesnt get too busy, when service becomes a bit patchy. Some decent drinks including good beers and and excellent (and well documented) selection of Gins and Whiskeys

Soup (tasty but on the cool side) and sandwiches (generous and fresh, generous triple decker with sumptuous ham) were provided by pleasant, prompt server. Nice surroundings and clearly a well run bar restaurant within busy hotel venue (conference and funeral wake underway on our arrival. Shame the soup, Cullen Skink, was not warmer; it ought to have been clear on serving that it was separating and this coloured the experience. Ample parking and well located for motorway and all local towns

Todo el personal era muy amable (mención especial a José que es tan acogedor y el ambiente en el restaurante agradable y relajado. He comido en el Bar Grill unas cuantas veces recientemente y toda la comida ha sido simplemente delicioso como muy bien presentado. Desde el Cajun hamburguesa casera a la carne carne stroganoff, para el eglefino perfectamente cocinado, pollo asado a la parrilla ... la lista podría seguir : . Sin duda tenemos ganas de volver para probar más cosas del menú.No me he probado todavía, pero también tienen un temprano tarde ofrecen a través de la semana hasta 1830.

Nos quedamos en el hotel Garfield ansiosa por años. utilizada por la familia para fiestas y funerales, por trabajo, conferencias y similares. Siempre estaba sonido, fiable, con buena comida. No es barato, pero siempre vale la pena un poco más. Cenamos allí ayer esperando lo mismo pero nos decepcionó un poco. Parece el mismo, buen ambiente, etc. pero la comida lo bajó. Todos nos sentimos como el precio de la comida ya no refleja la cantidad o calidad. Donde era bueno que estaba bien, pero nada especial. Donde no era tan bueno que no reflejan una buena relación calidad-precio por ejemplo por alrededor de £15 la lubina era three little, finas piezas secas en algunos fideos, la lasaña fue finas...
