Great pub,live jazz every Sunday,good beers and food okay. Its under new management but still same atmosphere

beautiful bar with a great live music. we are there twice. Friday nice with live music was really brilliant, which left us to dinner on Sunday night and as long as fish and meat delicious kartoffels were freed with him, there are only stars.

broughton street is becoming more and more of a foodie deest in edinburgh. it is easy to house to over 20 restaurants and bars that all charge their game on the food front and the barony is no exception. the barony is one of the last truly independent bars of edinburgh. the venue was opened for the first time in 1896 as a drink retailer before he became pub and since then is a hot one of the edinburgher drinks scene.

good eating big pub have visited some time to drink and always loved the ambiente and the staff is beautiful. are here for the first time and was not disappointed. the whitebait was very well cooked together with the Asian shiny with my garnels. the torte was delicious and the maic looked amazing that I could not allow to try. I had total comfort eating of mac and cheese. will try out other areas of the menu again. that's for good food.

phenomenal pub. great personal. amazing atmosphere with a group of friends to eat and drink with a group of friends on Saturday night. I had the steak and the ale piee, the cake was more than generously filled and the veg was cooked to perfection. one of my friends was vegetarian, so she ordered the plant-based haggis wellington, again a very generous part and she could not stop impairing the quality of the haggis. the staff was very friendly to offer us with sharpeners and entertainment, as was filled with laughter behind the bar. we were happy enough to stay for the live music that brought the pub to live. everyone singed and danced in his session.
