"Usually the starting point of a great night out. Friendly staff, beer garden with sometimes heaters or cover from the rain if out for a quick ciggie. Always a blast in there, or a familiar face. A quick menu served if required and usually finding a familiar face in there. Some say the more expensive pub in town bit always the best start of a night out. Staff are very friendly. What more do you need?"

"I was a few times and can say that it is very hit and miss. Although the staff is very pleasant, the service is always very slow. during a recent visit, the employees were three times to ask for drinks orders between the curses. our whole meal, two courses in total, as it was too late, lasted over three hours, which is simply ridiculous. eating is average when the restaurant is busy and it seems that in portions it comes to an unevenness. order a burger and it is a good value, but order them from the a la carte and they will be on the chip shop below the road later. this is the only place in leven like this, so maybe some complacency has set it. it is disappointing as it is a beautiful environment...read more"

"An expensive hotel!!! where the booking did not go smoothly. Rooms are austere with curtains hanging half off the rails. Our daughter-in-law had a bad mattress. There was no key for the connecting door. After a long time of nagging and pulling, we were given a key that we had to return if we were not in the room. Menu was extremely sparse. No choice at all for vegetarians. Initially we were supposed to eat there but we quickly canceled that. Bathroom didn't last either. Sparse with towels and flimsy disposable cups. No locker. No refrigerator. All very scanty. Oh yes, and what about one teaspoon for two people? It was uncomfortably hot in the rooms. Radiators were on in the middle of summer. I took the comforters out of their covers. In short, we paid way too much for a basic hotel with pretensions."

"I had always heard good things about this restaurant, but I had never eaten here until last night. I have been to various restaurants over the last few months, which have left me grudging the price of food for the quality received. However, I would fully recommend anyone to come to the Bonnybank Inn! There were four of us with two of us drinking pints. Each of us had a starter, a main course, and a dessert, all of the food was fantasic in terms of taste and quantity! For the first time in a while, my wife and I have left a restaurant completely satisfied with the whole night and happy to go back any day! We even took home leftovers!
