Beacon Farm Ice Cream

The ice cream sundaes were amazing. Large pieces of brownie in. Staff friendly. Only slight issue was the menus on the table were sticky so could do with a wipe, not just our table others around were the same.

Went for lunch and an afternoon out. Lunch was really good and great value little touches like a lightly toasted bun for the bacon sandwich. Delicious apple and Stilton scones. Prices very reasonable and the ice cream sundaes (with Hallowe’en theme) were great. Brilliant service from great staff.

The most delightful cafe. Fantastic selection of food and cakes. A proper good pot of tea and the breakfast was amazing! Lovely seating area outside to enjoy a leisurely morning or afternoon. Was A unexpected trip to the farm, due to having a lorry blowout in the village, but just want to say a massive thank you to the lady who opened up (shop was closed) and made me a cuppa! Next time I'm up this area with my kids will be definitely calling in. Farm looks amazing! Definitely worth calling by if anyone's up in the area! Dan

We stayed at Beacon Farm Campsite for 4 nights and found the staff to be incredibly helpful and friendly. The new shower and toilet block was a great addition, as they were very clean and tidy. The kids playground kept the children entertained for hours, especially when they made new friends. The campsite is located a short distance from Whitby and Sandsend, providing a peaceful atmosphere. The cafe served delicious and reasonably priced food, with a variety of ice cream flavors to choose from. Overall, we highly recommend Beacon Farm Campsite.

We had a wonderful weekend camping here. The campsite was well-maintained and clean, with great facilities like a play area, cafe, toilet/shower block, shop, and a nearby pub. The ice cream was delicious, and we enjoyed a tasty breakfast from the cafe. Just a 10-minute drive from Whitby, the campsite is peaceful and surrounded by sunflower fields and woodlands. It's dog and child friendly, with the option to hire campfires. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and our children loved seeing the goats every day. The cafe was fantastic and we ended up going there every day during our 5-night stay. The English breakfast was first class, with delicious sausages and served quickly. We thought it was good value for £7.95, toast included. All breakfast baps were priced under £4, which we also found reasonable. The drinks were reasonably priced as well. The ice cream selection was extensive, with more flavors than I could try. They were available in milkshake, waffle, sundae, cone, and tub variations, offering something for everyone. Additionally, they had a great selection of cakes. The homemade scones for the cream tea were delicious.

Great value campsite with excellent facilities. Stayed 4 nights including over a bank holiday and was very happy. Two fields were very busy with lots of families, I was in the third with my dog in a small tent. Felt like loads of space, lots of showers and toilets so never had to wait. Everything very clean. Highland cows and a lovely nature walk, even two goats near the dish washing room. Very friendly staff and a printout of a walk into Whitby from the site (about 3 miles). Aidan even gave me hints for other walks from the site. Local pub was also friendly (folk music happening the nights I was there). Ice cream was lovely and lunch was also good value.

3 night stay pitched up on non electric field. Easy to find, 5 minute drive from Whitby. Large pitches with 6 meters between each tent 3 different fields if i can remember around the kids play area which my boy loved. Polite staff, mens and ladies toilets both with showers, disabled toilet and 2 more toilets situated next to the wash room. Cows, goats and a lovely nature sculpture trail through the woods. Not ideal for wheelchairs or pushchairs as there is a steep decline and then incline getting out. Ice cream parlour is lovely with around 24 different flavours. £2.20 each. Also a tea room with seating both in and outdoors. £25 a night, we paid £10 deposit with the balance on arrival, cars... Ver carta
