"Do not be deceived by the small plate menu and tiny tables at this delightful spot in the Batignolles. The food is eclectic but hearty. Two notionally small plates can leave you stuffed. Take, for example, the accras of smoked haddock, five of the French Caribbean lightly fried dough balls with fish inside: or the quintessentially French boeuf bourgignon, the meat coming from the excellent Cote2Bouef shop just up the road. Lamb meat balls were the real McCoy and a parmentier of white fish, a sort of piscine shepherds pie, went down well. All washed down by a very nice bottle of a Gascon columbard/Sauvignon blend. The front of the house is deftly run by the charming Jean, of Sierra Leonian and French origin, whose English is as unaccented as his native tongue."

My wife and I had a fantastic experience here. Super tasty food that is very well thought out and beautifully presented clearly a labour of love for the chef. The waiting staff, wine and overall friendly/cosy ambience were equally as excellent. Overall: Highly recommended.

I'm getting used to it. definitely a good table, a warm and fresh welcome. difficult to choose each time so that the pleasure is to keep several proposals and share them. There is always an original touch on each proposal, we do not eat the same thing as elsewhere. the advice on cocktails and wines is good. the new layout of this small room is very pleasant.

Nous y sommes allés un soir de mars bien pluvieux. Installés directement au comptoir, la pluie fut vite oubliée et remplacée par la chaleur du lieu et la jovialité du personnel. Nous y avons trouvé une cuisine réconfortante, avec de bons produits se mariant parfaitement avec les vins conseillés ! Ici, tout le monde trouvera quelque chose à son goût, comptez environ 40€ par personne pour profiter pleinement de la proposition. Nous reviendrons picorer volontiers ;
