Tonight's dining experience was fantastic! The ambiance was beautiful, and the staff were welcoming and friendly, which made it even more special. I highly recommend this place! Our server, Michelle, was exceptional!

2 of the bark yesterday 4 our lunch 27. april. had the steakburger and chips from the midday menu with a popcorn sunshade and my partner had the rocky road sunbathing. delicious food and nice and hot. the service was excellent by a friendly young lady. all in a good experience. will visit again.

Spur of the moment visit during half term, took a while to be greeted but once we were the service was brilliant. We were informed of the 2 children eat breakfast for free with an adult offer and taken to our seats. Everything was explained to us and service was extremely friendly. Will definitely be returning! I haven't dined at Beefeater in many years, and based on my previous experiences, I didn't have high expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised! We tried the £5 lunch, which appeared to be freshly cooked. The portion sizes were generous and everything was well-prepared, plus the service was excellent. After this experience, Beefeater is definitely back on my list of places to eat. As the Americans would say, "Good job!"

We ordered the mixed grill and the grilled king prawns.The food looked lovely but the beef in the mixed grill was rare, not medium rare as requested.As for the grilled king prawns, sad to say the food was cold the flatbread was cold and hard, so were the prawns. Prawns, although grilled, should be tender, not tough! It's poor cooking at most.The salad was also missing from it and we had to remind them. The chunky chips were warm enough. Also, after having finished our starters, we had to wait a very long time before the main course was served. The staff was quite rude and barely acknowledged us. We requested some sauces but never received them, as the young employee either seemed distracted by the TV or focused on the table next to us, which did receive their requests. The food wasn't very enjoyable; the smothered chicken was rubbery and came with only a handful of chips, making the portion size small. The half roast chicken with fries was acceptable. However, the mixed grill was the biggest letdown among the three meals we ordered. There were large eggshells left on the fried egg, and I'm certain my sister's boyfriend accidentally bit into one before he noticed. I have no idea how that dish left the kitchen in that state.
