Can't rate the hotel side, food is good, can be hit n miss sometimes but is 9 times out of 10 good food

100% worst Chinese I’ve had, think they tipped the tub of salt in our food before giving it to us, whole meal was vile Ver carta

£40 a night for a very clean room with a good shower. Chinese meal with a cold beer in the restaurant. Wow worth the stay Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value

I have to give 1 star because the food tasted like the lid of the bottle of salt fell off and all the salt got dumped into the food. It was inedible how salty it was. Restaurant used to be alright but went for a meal the other night and it was dire. The prawn crackers were stale and cooked in bad oil, nothing tasted fresh, noodles were burnt, only thing that was remotely good was the fried duck and pancakes. Sadly I won't be back and the combination of high prices and bad food has a very negative effect on me. Rooms: 2 Service: 1 Location: 2

This is basic accommodation but clean and well positioned for my activities. Room had a shower and sink but shared toilet along the passage. Room clean and tidy with comfortable bed. No breakfast available this time. Food drinks: Plenty of eateries in walking distance and few pubs close by. You can order takeaway at the venue to eat in the room. Cutlery will be supplied. Got there at 7pm and was famished and had their Wonton Soup with Chicken Chow Mein. Their Room was nice with Clean Sheets, a little Table, 2 Comfy Chairs. They gave good attentive Service. And of all the Motels or Inns I have stayed at, theirs was the only one that have a complimentary Fridge in the suite. They even provide a Laundry Service for your Personal Clothing. The only problems was the Bathroom Sink Cold Tap did not work and the Toilet made a Terrible Racket when Flushed. It is Great Service for the Price they charge and would stay there again if I am ever back to visit Splilsby again. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Ver carta
