Bell And Bottle - Menú

Went out for Sunday dinner to avoid cooking at home, the carver was terrible. Meat was OK, but the vegetables looked and tasted like they had been on display all day, the roast potatoes were cold and tasted horrible. A friend ordered chips which were...not even properly cooked. Will avoid in future.

Living local did visit this place fairly regularly. Now shall not. Staff friendly, and helpful. Menu over priced has shockingly gone up in cost for similar meals in neighbouring restaurants at a considerable lower cost also wine cost absolute rip-off). I pitied...the poor guy who genuinely served us, I asked for the drinks menu. He told us they had not one yet. Not his fault...we walked out..this establishment lost custom.

Order a mixed grill for £22. My bacon which should have been a gammon was hiding my small pork chop. My Cumberland sausage was hiding underneath my egg. Which my chicken breast was small than my egg yolk. My wife ordered a rump steak, I...asked for medium rare, it was well done. The only thing that was nice about the meal was the bottle of water. Went for our anniversary meal, ruined our evening. Don't eat from here. Its disgusting.

We have been going the bell and bottle around 5 years and the food is good and the staff have always been Friendly and polite.... until last night. The woman had a face that said I don't want to be here with an attitude to...match. Even my daughter picked up on this and felt uncomfortable. My wife commented that she was getting scowled at and we were being looked at like we were going to do a runner. Safe to say we will no longer be frequenting the bell and bottle as we do not expect this when we are paying for the privilege.

poor in the whole world, to the workers who were sitting on the first table, we did not even arrive. sa in the bar, ice-cold, no menus in still not personal in itself. went to the bar waited for a few minutes until someone came, asked...where menus are ‘on the side through there’ as helpful. finally found menus dirty food stained! the ordered Nachos chicken has a lot of time for such a very nice evening. the man let the food go, did not ask if we like any sauces, etc. they had to hunt out again. afteros was terrible, flesh clear from a dose, left this. on the bar to take another drink, no one stood in sight for 3/4 minutes yet no one left, very bad service, no hospitality, will not return.

Booked a table wednesday evening for 10 for my sisters birthday and we had high hopes as it is somewhere we used to visit quite frequently. we visited the bell and bottle, hoping to get a table although we had not booked. we had booked a terrible pub (poor poor) close to that in the night our table canceled.) the staff in the bell and bottle was friendly and welcoming, we. had a table in an art cubical area so we felt it was quite private what was nice. the two for a food business were great, we had beautiful gammony and chips, fish and chips and vegetarian curry. we also had a common starter of nachos, our daughter had the menu of the child and enjoyed being able to choose what she wanted. the food came fast and was good. there was a slight delay in ordering dessert, I think we forgot, but I went into the bar and they came imme...
