We went for an impromptu family visit at the end of trip to Chillingham Castle and was probably one of the nicest meals we’ve ever had. Couldn’t fault anything already planning our next trip back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Just had afternoon tea for four. It was absolutely phenomenal. So delicious. We can not recommend it enough. The people who work here are extremely friendly and nice. Will definitely come back. Stopped here for a drink and snack after a walk by the river with our dogs. Chose this place because its dog friendly but actually decided to sit outside. The lady who served us (sorry I didn't ask her name was lovely : offered us a table inside but we were more than happy to sit outside. She wiped down our chairs and tables (it had been raining quite a bit and took our order.. Victoria sponge and chocolate cake, both with fresh cream! They were both tasty and were devoured quickly!! I could hear music playing inside which sounded great.. just my cup of tea! Will definitely return and sample a meal. Fantastic place and lovely staff
