"We stumbled across this place when looking for Terreviva which was previously here. The cafe is located within an organic shop (which sells vegan cheese etc . They do a plate of various vegan options, while they serve non vegan items, they can always do a vegan plate, on the date we went everything was vegan. The waitress was really accommodating, she talked through all the options and was happy to adapt anything. We were brought fresh bread and a homemade dip made from tahini and vegetable, the vegan dishes included stuffed tomato, stuffed courgette, various vegetables, a grain based fillet, cauliflower pasta and more. Everything is organic and the portions are extremely generous. We were told the dessert is almost always vegan and it was tiramisu on the day went (we were too full to have it though! Interestingly, despite me and my partner both being vegan, there was some variation in our plates, which was good as we could try each other’s. Would definitely recommend for all the vegans passing though!"

Very nice people. We got a vegan lunch. We immediately got some bread with a bell pepper spread. Our plate had all kinds of delicious vegetables, beans and more. Totally recommend! Updated from previous review on 2021-08-13 Ver carta

Delicious owners and great food. The chef illustrates what he can cook with fresh and organic products. Ask if you want the vegetarian dish or completely veg. I really like it. I would have put five stars, but the happy cow doesn't let me know why.

We went there at 1:00, just two other people eating there. The owner was really nice, but the communication was difficult. She's talking Italian. The food was different from other things we tried in Tuscany, but was very good and had a lot of proteins. With a cake afterwards it was enough for lunch. But the price was 15€ per person plus 5€ for desert. Yes its good vegan and ecological food, but 15€ is a lot I do. Ver carta

we went here on the first day of reopening. the owner had to load and keep the adjacent caffe some months closed after an accident. offers a small selection of vegan products (cheese, yogurt) in the shop and plans to re-run the caffe from 6 september (please make sure that they confirm these information before they travel). we could not try the food because the caffe was still closed, but the whole place had a very nice atmosphere. the owner is very friendly and helpful. if you can, please support them with a buy. bring them some time for a chat. updated by previous review on 2022-09-01

"Living close by we have heard about La Rana, now we tried it. Very nice little place, very friendly and helpfull waiters, particularly the young female waiter who served us and who should not be blamed for anything. She was only doing what her superior told her to do. The food was fine, but not particularly interesting we had 2 pasta and 2 main courses the pizza looked very good . It was quite full they did not respect the distance of 1 meter between tables, but had obviously set up more to be able to take in more guests than they ought to , so the waiting time was understandable, even though there were 4 waiters for about 60 seats. But..... we had reserved a table for nine o clock they close at ten thirty ,having to wait some minutes ok, fine and had our pasta about 9.20 ok, fine but at 9.30 they started to take away seats in tables around us wihtout due respect to the remaining guests they were simply closing one hour earlier than they said they would. A bit disturbing, but ok, fine. We both work in the restaurant industry and can understand that one tries to anticipate. It meant though that we had to wait for the main course while they did their duties. 3 waiters then left leaving the nice girl alone to finish, she brought our plates and, obviously as told started the final sanification of the premisses, meaning that she went around our table and those of the other remaing guests with a spray bottle of alcohol to disinfect within five minutes all our food tasted of disinfection spray uneatable. We left it, asked for the bill still before closing time and went to tell the owner WHY we had left it, he did not even excuse for the incident, but put on an arrogant face, saying that those are the rules He made us pay the full bill and saluted us saying that he hoped never to see us again !!! He definetely will not !!!"
