"My husband and I chose to dine here because it seemed nice and relaxing and had a menu that was varied enough to fit our tastes. Unbeknownst to us...it was rip off central. My husband ordered the beef tenderloin which was fine for ($45). I pointed to the "plat du jour" option (which is listed under the dinner menu and not the lunch menu) and asked the waitress what it was. She informed me that it was a fish called "St. Pierre", a lovely white fish. So I ordered what I thought was the "plat du jour."The restaurant was only half full when we sat down and ordered. It took close to 20 minutes to get the water and glass of wine that we ordered. After asking her for the water, she asked if we wanted "still or with gas?" I said just "ice water please."She then brought out a bottle of Evian, I told her tap was fine with us, since I noticed everyone else was drinking tap. I'm tired of buying 2-3 $8 bottle of water. Anyways, she brings out the tap water like we requested. Later the bill comes and I noticed that we were charged for the $8 Evian and now my "plat du jour" that was listed as $29, is now a "poisson du jour" for $45.Look I understand that St Tropez is not a place to go if you're not willing to drop cash, and I have no problem dropping $$ on food. But when I order a dish listed at $29 and then you try to tell me that you said you didn't have it and I ordered the "fish of the day" instead...and try to "up charge" me on $8 water bottle plus an extra $15 for the fish, I have a problem. I then show her the bill and her mistake. She says she made a mistake on the water but unfortunately, the fish was $45. She then tried to say that the "plat du jour" is for lunch only. We'll, first you said you didn't have it, and now it's for lunch only ( although listed on dinner menu). As I was waiting for her to refund the water, the manager asked if he could help me. I showed him the bill and explained what happened. He took the bill and said he would fix the mistakes.Next thing I know, the waitress comes to me and says "the water is my mistake, but the fish is yours. So here's 8 euros back for the water you didn't order." Wow. It's not the $45 fish! It's the principle! You can't do that! You can't treat customers like that! Anyways, stay away... or check the bill closely.Consider yourself warned. One more thing, the bathrooms are disgusting! Smelled like urine and was near the kitchen where I couldn't even look at the floor because it was so dirty and gross."

Mytic Bistrot of St Tropez on the big market square. As a family go to the terrace and if you are alone go to the bar inside you will make beautiful meetings of the old people of the village..

Wanted to drink something. The bistro was almost empty. The waitor told us to leave. F… (Traduit par Google) Je voulais boire quelque chose. Le bistrot était presque vide. Le serveur nous a dit de partir. F…

Over time it doesn't improve! From the chic and casual restaurant, we went to the brewery, with bistros, with non-existent service and unsipid cuisine! Only good note, the frame. This does not compensate excessive prices for what is served... it is probably due to inflation!!! Even in St Trop?

We chose to miss the harbour-side restaurants and chose this bistro just off the market square. My wife had seafood risotto and I had moules and chips, great chips, washed down with cold beers and rose. It suited us perfectly, the service was good and prices are what they are in Saint Tropez but we were well satisfied.

If the service was very correct and if the waitress showed itself very kind, the kitchen remains very average: the dish of the day was correct but the desserts were at best mediocre, at worst they breathed the defrost. The value for money wasn't worth it! The setting and the place are pretty on the other hand. But everything is just a way.

We traditionally stop there in the family every summer to order a few bottles of rosé and spend the evening playing the petanque on the Place des Lices. I don't dine out of a possible board of cheese and charcuterie that is very correct for the price in the tourist season. So I'm not able to judge their kitchen outside of that. The server was very attractive and good advice on quite varied topics (local wines and seasonal activities)

We have taken our children here three times now every time we visit St T, aged 3,4 and now 11. The location is great as set round the village square and away from the high tourist/pricey harbour side. The food is a good standard as is the wine, for us pigeon French speaking people they offer an English worded menu. The only negative comment would be service was sigh fly slow although this extended are visit which was nice. Would return for a 4th visit

The host was very welcoming and fixed a very nice table for us 3 plus a stroller. Perfect introduction really!!Menus were given right away and drinks were offered. No kids menu for diner... And nothing under 25€! Not really kids friendly!Burgers were tasteless made of cheap ingredients, tuna tataki was tasteless and the beef filet with pepper sauce a rip off!The bread tasted like old chemical... All together a charming place but they should invest in a real chef to propose these prices for such a cheap quality!

"Had lunch there for my 40th birthday with my wife and my 5 yo son : we had a wonderful time, just what I expected for my birthday . The terrace is located in the hotel La Residence de la Pinede so the location and service are perfect, the top notch maître d 'hôtel is superbly seconded by his staff, there really is nothing more to say than perfect when they successfully create a relaxed atmosphere in a 5 location with amazing food. Let 's be clear on something: don 't go there if you 're on a budget because you 'll end up frustrated, you want to chose what you wish to eat and drink not what you can . If we 're ok on this part let 's move forward. That have a formula (95€ with the degustation menu that also includes the loungers on the beach if you wish to enjoy the private beach of the hotel or their pool. We ordered a La carte because we didn 't feel like eating that much and preferred more options for our lunch. A little bummer there : you end up paying more but the loungers are not included so we end up paying 140€ for two of them. We didn 't let this waste our precious stay but it 's not very classy on their part. My son had the pasta (many choices including penne, fettuccine, spaghetti... with bolognese sauce, they 're the BEST I ever tasted and with a 5 yo I 've tasted a lot of them in many locations (including luxurious ones . We shared an entree of smoked salmon and tarama, the salmon was really good, the kind of salmon you expect when they have a real chef orchestrating his kitchen : fresh and delicious. I, then had ravioli filled with ris de veau and foie gras swimming in a sage leaf pool, it was magnificent and I never order foie gras because I don 't enjoy it that much. You have many bread options, we had the fougasse and it was delicious. The champagne list by the glass is amazing : we had Dom Perignon and Krug rosé, definitely pricey but you don 't look at the price when you can get so many options (the sommelier had 5 or 6 options of champagne by the glass for me , you have more classic options too but I was so happy with the ones I had . I was the only one to have desert : a soufflé aux myrtilles with a liqueur de sureau, I was in shock tasting it . We then stayed on the beach and enjoyed the heated pool that was sooo warm after the hotel de Paris 's cold pool. Overall if we forget the bummer of the loungers that are included on the menu but not if you go à la carte and spend a lot more I give them 6 and will definitely come back"
