"this bistro was recommended by the staff of the reception of our hotel. I had asked for an authentic French bistro near the hotel bristol for us four. Hmm. I checked it on tripadvisor and I thought it sounded good. First of all, it's not near the hotel bristol, maybe the same street but it was a good taxi ride and the taxi driver didn't know it. When we approached the sidewalk tables, we wondered if that was what we wanted and decided that, as we could spend time wandering from top to bottom trying to find another place, we would try. the outside was very busy and quite cold. We looked inside - rather without atmosphere - and a client said we should really sit outside, so we did. He certainly had many French customers, most of whom were smokers. as we are all non-smoking, we now think that many restaurants or cafes located outside the areas are colonized by smokers. just an involuntary consequence of tobacco control. the tables were small circular bistro style, ideal for ashtray, two glasses and a bottle of wine. a little just for a full meal for two more wine, bread and condiments. However, the service was good, the very good food: salad, omelettes, beef burger, but the best were desserts. fabulous pancakes that understood to light the liqueur and pour it on the pancakes at the table. the wine was good and it was a distance easily accessible by foot from the triumphant bow where we saw the eiffel tower cross its scintillating light show at midnight."

After a day of walking in the betting, a good meal can do the trick. After a long search, I found a good bistro that felt really French. good reception and round table for food. We ate a scalope and a pure American. delicious. simply recommended.
