Black Horse - Carta

Not your type Yorkshire pub the Black Horse has in recent years much more to the nightlife in Skipton, especially a Friday and Saturday...

We visited on a very wet Friday afternoon, sheltering from the rain. The surroundings, overlooking the canal, were pleasant and the drinks enjoyable.

Good service with our personal wishes met, excellent value food and drink, and the meal, although cheaper than most pubs in Skipton, was good. Excellent real ales. Well done, Terri, Sarah and Anthony. Ver carta

the barmann was very attentive, he got my older family members a brandy each in the perfect glass and warmed them first, this was nice of him, we all feel welcome. he was very helpful with coffee and took care of us.

I love visiting Black Horse! The staff has always been incredibly friendly to me and my mates when we've gone. The food tastes great and isn't too expensive either. If you're ever in Skipton, I would definitely recommend stopping in for at least a nice treat, because their desserts are relatively cheap and taste delicious!

the black horse, the personal and the eating fantastic, the eating was delicious and I was impressed by the vegan option for my daughter. the wonderful staff so friendly and friendly ensured that we had a brilliant night. a special scream at the assistent charlie fantastic guy. will definitely be back thanks to so much of them xxx Ver carta

Lunch at the Black Horse, nice and relaxed. We weren't over hungry so we ordered small sharing dishes.Pleasently supprised at how much food came. A long plank of wood with our sharers on and they looked yummy. I have never had onion rings as crispy. They were fantastic. In fact, we couldn't eat it all and dogie baged the rest.Staff we superb and would recommend it to anyone.

Racked up here Sunday 22/8/2021 to fill in time before meeting up with other friends elsewhere. Popped outside with the dog to the terrace overlooking the canal and got nicely settled under cover away from the rain. Hot drinks were not available so was forced to have a Lager ; All in all not much has changed in the last 5 years since the previous visit. It is a good pub and one which will continue to draw my attention when in Skipton.

it's been a few years since I was last in black horse, and it was nicely familiar. the long narrow layout, sticky floors and the history of the building. but something has changed, eating. during my previous visit I enjoyed the authentic pub grub great worth and tasty. this time, eating had changed, there were still some of the well-known pub kitchens, but also some really special supplements. the sharing platters are excellent value for money, we have used a daily offer of 5 boards for a tenor including some amazing jäger chips. I recommend it for a first visit or a return. Ver carta
