Additionally, when the bar first opened, they were out of ice and lemons, as if they were caught off guard by the number of guests. I followed up with an email the next day but haven’t received any response, which suggests a lack of concern for customer feedback. We reserved a booth but ended up not getting one. The service was incredibly lacking; not once did anyone come to our table without us having to shout or chase them down for attention, which often took a long time! We ordered desserts three times, and they eventually gave them to us for free because, for some reason, our order was never put in. On a positive note, the setting was lovely and the food was good. I'm hoping this was just a one-time issue, as I've been there several times before and had decent service.

Wow! My family, friends, and I attended a wedding for a family member yesterday, and it was an absolutely fantastic day. The ceremony took place in a marquee, and I can honestly say that nobody had any complaints. The staff across all areas were excellent, ensuring that the day went off without a hitch. The food was delightful, and all the guests who stayed overnight were very impressed with their accommodations. We were also fortunate to have beautiful weather, allowing us to fully enjoy the stunning views that this venue offers. We stayed at Huckleberry Cottage for two days while attending a wonderful family wedding.Thank you to Donna the wonderful wedding planner for her empathy and kindness.Also special thanks to Anne ,Mathew the barman and the outstanding chefs.Absolutely 5 in every way. Rooms: Our cottage was perfect-beautifully clean and equipped for all needs.
