Gorgeous lunch unfortunately my husband tested positive so couldn't go but when I explained to the waitress she said they don't normally do takeaways on a Sunday. I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant with delicious food and excellent staff. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and it was clear that many diners return regularly, which says a lot about the place. I dined in for dinner, and the price per person was around £30 to £40. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the garlic bread!

The starter was enjoyable. It featured black pudding in a peppercorn sauce, accompanied by crispy bacon and a poached egg. However, I could have done without the egg, as it made the bacon too soft and moist. Unfortunately, my main course was a letdown. The fillet of pork was fine, but the crushed herb potatoes were unimpressive, resembling poorly mashed potatoes and not what I had anticipated. On the positive side, the creamy blue cheese sauce was excellent, and the roast garlic potatoes were delightful. That being said, the rest of my group had no complaints whatsoever. Overall, I would rate the food a 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.
