I had an excellent meal in a lovely restaurant featuring a cozy log fire. The service was great, and it was a delightful dinner experience. The price was around £30-40 per person. I highly recommend trying the hake!

The restaurant is situated on the historic Chapel Street in Penzance. Although it isn't exclusively a vegan or vegetarian establishment, the options for plant-based diners are outstanding! We tried the farro dish and the baked celeriac, and both were absolutely delicious. There are also two fantastic vegan dessert choices: rhubarb nut crisp and caramelized banana with apple Calvados sorbet. Highly recommended!

I made a reservation at Blacks for my girlfriend's birthday during our winter getaway in Cornwall, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The decor was stylish and cozy, and we were warmly welcomed by Sue, the owner, as soon as we entered. She seated us by the crackling fire, where we ordered two delightful snowball cocktails to start. For our appetizer, we enjoyed a fantastic liver pâté served with crostinis. For the main course, my partner chose lamb while I opted for pork, accompanied by a bottle of champagne. We ended our meal with a glass of dessert wine to complement our festive poached pear dessert. The food was exceptional, and we had a lovely chat with Sue, who was the perfect host... Ver carta
