A different atmosphere to the Lewes pubs and really good Jamaican food. Definitely recommended.

This pub is excellent for Sunday lunch, with a Caribbean twist on traditional favorites. Make sure to book a table in advance, as it tends to get crowded! Prices range from £20-30 per person. The food and service both receive a rating of 5, while the atmosphere is rated at 4.

Excellent pub doing a fantastic normal Sunday roast and pub food with a Jamaican touch. Really tasty dishes and worth a visit for a different meal. We stayed here in September for a wedding in the area and booked last minute. What a gem of a find! The rooms were lovely, comfortable, and cozy, and the food at the pub was absolutely incredible. Stayed at the Blacksmiths Arms last weekend and it was excellent. Local real ale at the bar, freshly made Jamaican food that was delicious. The room was clean, comfortable with a good en suite bathroom. Parking around the back of the pub. Super views of the local countryside from across the road. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5

I recently stayed at this restaurant for 3 nights and had an amazing experience. I tried the pork curry on the first night and the Sunday roast with lamb on another night, both of which were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend staying here or stopping by for the amazing food. Thank you to Jazz for the wonderful service!
