"We have often eaten gluten free in the restaurant here (pizza and pasta) or ordered pizza to pick up. The taste was always very good. As the restaurant is always very busy, it is advisable to reserve a table. The service is sometimes a bit overwhelmed due to the many guests. Unfortunately, the gluten free pizza, which is available for an extra charge, has become much smaller! The "size" is more like an appetiser, as even our 13 year old daughter, who eats like a sparrow, can't get enough. Wir haben hier schon häufiger glutenfrei im Restaurant gegessen (Pizza und Pasta) oder Pizza zum Abholen bestellt. Geschmacklich war alles immer sehr gut. Da im Restaurant immer sehr viel los ist, empfiehlt es sich einen Tisch zu reservieren. Der Service ist manchmal aufgrund der vielen Gäste etwas überfordert. Leider ist die gegen Aufpreis erhältliche glutenfreie Pizza deutlich kleiner geworden! Kann von der "Größe" eher als Vorspeise gewertet werden, da sogar unsere 13jährige wie ein Spatz essende Tochter davon nicht satt wird"

"Visited Hacienda last night with 6 work colleagues for dinner. We were a blend of North American based and France based people who were excited not to eat German food again. The restaurant was a good size, however lacked air conditioning or any fans, which made dinner a little uncomfortable.The food itself was good. I wouldn't say it was authentic Mexican but it was tasty. The guacamole was great and so were the chips. Overall the food was well priced and plentiful. We order lots of drinks and they were relatively good too.My only negative comment would be the service. We had a total of three people waiting in us. The younger server was visably annoyed with having to wait on Americans and snorted when one asked for ice. Also laughed at use when we said "danke", which I thought was not necessary. The woman waiter was not as rude but definitely not friendly either. The older man, who seemed to be the manager, was pleasant and I would have rather dealt with him the whole time."

"The place was packed on an early Saturday night, but we had reserved. At first we were assigned a tiny table at the hallway where everyone who needs to go to the bathroom passes closely behind one's back. We expressed our dissatisfaction with this and then were offered a table close to the entrance that was somewhat better. Why not from the beginning? The staff was stressed and each time a different person appeared at our table. Some were friendly, others curt. The atmosphere was loud and hectic, which was not helped by the very narrow spacing of tables. In any case, in due course our order was taken and it did not take too long to arrive. This was possible, because clearly much of the food is prepared in advance and only heated up. For example, the Tajine dish was served in one, but it was clearly not prepared in it. The food tastes ok, but we would have expected more seasoning, it was a little bland. Portions are generous, perhaps even too large. There is a short list of bottled wines, but prices are marked up steeply. Altogether, the price tag seems a little high for the delivered quality. In summary, while there is nothing deeply wrong with Djadoo, we were left with a mere average impression. But they were turning three or four seatings per table, so many other customers are clearly more pleased."

"There are definitely people who are looking for exactly that kind of bar, but people with taste are not one of them. The Radler tasted sweet in the worst possible way, music is either pop and more annoying or house sets that you find on the Soundcloud homepage, then way too loud on speakers with 300% mids... If neither of these fits the rustic decor at all, then at least some guitar music plays to add to the atmosphere. The audience is young and stuffy, engineering students are happy, everyone else is taking a test drive."

"Just what I was looking for on a cold, snowy night in Darmstadt. The steak came with salad (some lettuce spinach leaves) and fries (quite good). The meat portions are huge. The filet is almost twice the size of what you get in the...U.S. and just as tender. Other meat portions that I saw were downright huge. One patron quipped wow, I just wanted a steak, not the whole animal . I was with many business colleagues and everyone agreed that the meat quality was superb. The usual local beer menu was available. The restaurant is quite small and could fill up fast. Not sure if they take reservations. Be aware they do NOT take credit cards! I would definitely go back."
