It’s a lovely spot with a nice view of the castle and river. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and the portions are big. I recommend you to make a reservation as it can get pretty busy at least for lunch time. Although it was busy the service was fast and because the rooms are spacious you don’t feel crowded. were in a group of 11 people for christmas before location. the location is really very nice and the service was also appropriate. but now that comes. both the white carvings and the pigging were too dry and the meat had not necessarily a pleasant taste. We've been in the boathouse for the first time. We had a table reserved for outside. Unfortunately, we only found out on site that you cannot reserve for outside. Luckily, a table was released in the short term. Unfortunately the food did not really convince (Fish tasted old, Curry was badly seasoned). Due to the hectic back and forth the two “table managers” did not come up with a relaxed atmosphere. We stayed at Karls Hotel and were unfortunately quite disappointed by this dinner. It was there three times in 2021. Good ambience, nice, professional staff. Food: Rather below average. Schnitzel with Pommes just 20 euros. Schnitzelfleisch reminiscent of press meat like motorway rasters. Panade dito. fried in parts. Panade at make places still pampy. No taste due to missing spices. Pommes lazy. This cost note may be expected more. Quality and taste of SchniPo at Kiosk better. I also told the local staff. Other menus similar to previous visits. I do not ask this to be used as a accusation to values, but to make use of a kind of quality control/secure in order to meet the statement in the restaurant concept of the highest level.
