"I must confess I am a regular at this place, but for a reason. The Rinderwirt in Sigmaringendorf (on the banks of the lovely Danube upstream of Ulm) is offering hearty and wholesome rural cuisine, based on the house's own locally-bred herd of Galloway cattle. The meals are first-rate quality, from the rather frugal Vesper (several sorts of German sausages, eaten cold on brown peasants' bread, with a side order of pickled gherkins) to the rich and sumptuos Rinderroulade (beef roll, a thin slice of prime beef wrapped around a stuffing of bacon, onion and pickled gherkin and simmered in a mid-heat for about an hour - you won't believe that beef can be as tender as this). The beer selection is limited but sufficient, wines are clearly more in the patron's vein. The restaurant is decorated in the style of a traditional barn, with disused cow-bells finding a new occupation as lampshades. Much unworked wood, which agrees well with my taste. Service is fast and very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. So, Beim Rinderwirt comes recommended without any reservations."

"really the best tinker in the environment. it is huge, tastes very delicious and costs as much as everywhere. the last is quite large and very clean. there is a small outside area. the toilets are always kept clean and the staff is very friendly. who goes without eating is himself guilty!"

"in order to clear the negative from the same distance, the calibre in sigmaringen is located at a possibly unfavorable location. the rather large open-air area extends between two roads, one of which is the main access to the city hall, camping site, kanuclub, climbing area and the largest super market. Nevertheless, the orientation to the west, with a view the donautal upwards, with the wooded hills of the alb on both sides makes an evening meal very pleasant especially in summer here.The menu is clearly Mediterranean, with some Greek sprinklers in a predominantly Italian selection. Pizza and pasta offer a rich selection and are of good, fresh quality. there is a separate department seafood pizza, and the usual selection of appetizers, salads and desserts. something disappointing is that only one suppe (tomats, what else) is in the offer. under the heading fresh noodles hide the variants that are most interesting for vegetarians. an original idea that lifts the calibre from all the other Italians is the consistent name of the pizzas with Italian first name (anna, ornella, giuseppe, salvatore). by this you have to read the score lists consciously. simply add and the service margarita can lead to unexpected results. same (the services) are very friendly and accommodating, even if the very lively business does not always make it easy for them. because the calibre is very popular (with good reason) it can become difficult especially in the evening to find spontaneously a place. one of the most attractive restaurants in sigmaringen (which in culinary view is not exactly the pearl of the donautal), with a moderate price level."

"Visitamos Sigmaringen, para poder visitar el castillo. Llegamos a la hora de comer (Por estos países se come pronto) en un día mas bien destemplado, y frio. Buscamos y como es pequeño encontramos pronto. Hotel Restaurante TRAUBE. Bueno pues.... nos encontramos con que de mano había un Buffet con entrantes apetitosos. Mucho "verde", encurtidos y algo de pasta con una especie de mahonesa. Después nos decantamos por schnitzel con kartoffel. En España seria filete empanado con patatas fritas (3) otras (3) Hefeweizen que al cambio serian cervezas y un postre Apfelkuchen con Kugel Vanille, que seria pastel de manzana con helado de vainilla. Bien pues todo esto nos salió por 43 euros. Sitio agradable, servicio correcto y atento. Pues ya saben si visitan esta parte cercana a Stuttgart no dejen de visitar este lugar. Que además está cercano a Metzingen, pueblo dedicado en su mayoría al OUT LET, con las marcas mas famosas del mundo. Así sucedió y así se lo cuento."

"they have a separate section in their menu for the vegan and vegetarian options, so this is a plus. we tried the mango distributor and the matar (Pea) distributor, both of which were very delicious. for appetiser we have tried their papadams with different chatneys/ sauces and for drinks the mango leti and the ginger tea."
