Delicious food serving local freshly prepared speciality dishes. Best food we have eaten in France for many years.

After some very average meals in Dole we found this restaurant. Wonderful, just like France used to be before fast food infected the locals.

We took the menu of the day and I came out disappointed. The portions are ridiculous for a cap. I came out with hunger.Service not top.Maybe I came the wrong day. Ver carta

We loved this restaurant. It was right next door to the hotel we were staying in and this was recommended by the staff at the hotel. We had been to a michellin restaurant for lunch in Berlin a few weeks ago and this restaurant...surpassed that meal. Well worth it.

Dinner was required for the band before we played our gig in town. I enjoyed a goats cheese salad and steak all very well cooked and served beautifully. I tried the house wine and finished with a coffee and paid for the meal. Good...value and recommended. James Rainbow

This Lyonnais-style restaurant features bistro-style dishes. The food was hearty and plentiful but the ambiance is somewhat lacking as it’s a large room with very bright lighting. I’d designate this as a ‘Good’ restaurant and certainly worth trying but not worth going out of your...way for. Ver carta

This simple but very cozy restaurant in central Dôle offers typical food from Lyon. The salad with chèvre chaud was rich and tasty. As a main I had the riz de veau with a morel sauce and this dish was just delicious. This restaurant is...an excellent place for a good lunch or dinner after visiting beautiful Dôle!

I was spoilt for choice on the menu so I can't waiting go back, however I think this was the best dining experience in a long time, great atmosphere, great service and a wonderful menu of some great classic French dishes, cooked to perfection, wonderful...sweetbreads with morel mushrooms, rack of lamb and loved the really different accompionments, crime caramel desert made in house, what can I say, gone to bed very happy!!

Stopped in Dole on long drive when we ran out of driving time. Stayed at hotel above restaurant, booked on the hoof, so really just by chance. Walked into town, but came back here because of reviews and town very quiet. Cannot fault it. Food...excellent even on a cold Monday night. I ate from menu, husband ate from blackboard. Well above any expectations we might have had. Find yourself here and we cannot recommend highly enough. Ver carta
