A lovely pub with a great selection of food and drink options. Team were friendly and they seem to have had a refurb recently which makes the place look a lot brighter. Definitely be returning Ver carta

I understand that the restaurant is not allowing walk-ins due to the heat, staff shortages, and labor costs. However, as someone who works in hospitality, I was surprised to be turned away when it wasn't very busy.

Came on a sunny Tuesday evening, arrived and told that they aren’t doing food for Walkins despite only a handful of people in, too hot apparently. Wanted an ice cream, couldn’t even manage that. I’ll stick to the badgers sett.
