"I have eaten several times here in the last 5 months, usually at midday on a weekday. As a result, the service was fast and punctual, as the maximum number of other customers in most cases would be 10. today, Saturday, the restaurant was about half full. the foods are in the style of an upscale french areros and like the environment elegant and modern, with considerable flair. a bottle of cornichons ensures a good start to eat. these are very “moreish” and prepare the taste buds on the next floor. an appetizer made of lobster cocktail with melone and orange is delicate, but the lobster amount is tiny and offers no good value for money at all. the main dish was coq au vin of early chickens in a very rich dark sauce dominated by star anise with grilled carrots, accompanied by kartoffel puree and small mesclun salad. the little whole chicken was perfectly prepared and the potato bread was great. the Profiteroles Desert was acceptable, but not outstanding. the wee are suitable for any purse, and half a bottle of French red wine fits well to the chicken dish. the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and most speak English as well. the experience has been saddened today by a series of loud little children under four years.
