For 1 aperitif we are asked to leave at half an hour before lunch... Not necessarily friendly

Brasserie située au cœur de St Gervais très bel endroit avec terrasse extérieure, repas bien garni et personnel sympathique, je recommande

very rich, simple and very good quality dishes. accessible with reservation. Very good service. and therefore a very good address to st gervais for a friendly meal in a nice setting.

excellent meal on the terrace, the piater cut with a delicious knife with its homemade fries, good reception of the waitress, smile which is not always the case in Haute-Savoie, no waiting, my friend with a handicapped-fareeuil could find a place without problems.

My boyfriend and I went for lunch and the waiters were terribly impolite. At first they told me that they were full, then my boyfriend asked and they said that we would need to wait one hour. We waited one hour, went back and they told us that the kitchen was closed half and hour ago and they could not accept us while there was a couple that just arrived and was looking and the food menu who felt very embarrassed by the waiters’ attitude. The take-away is that the restaurant is very impolite towards “non french” tourists.

In the first instance it was difficult to book. Despite speaking some French they appeared to really not want to accommodate us. On arrival we were initially ignored then finally directed to our table. On ordering they were not helpful when trying to adjust the dressing on the burger for our child .The chicken on the salad was so over fried it was inedible . The burgers were decent though. Overall not a pleasant experience. I’m not sure what’s happened here, as we have been in the past and had a good experience. Plenty of other much friendlier places to go in Saint Gervais , so we don’t be returning here .
