"We had 2 breakfasts at the restaurant as guests of the hotel and we were not impressed that much.First of all, the place was hectic and much too small to accommodate all hotel guests. It was packed! There was a constant noise in the restaurant and no atmosphere at all.The buffet was just ok and included all the usual European dishes, but not a single dish was "wow". The food was good, but that's all.Having said that, there was champagne on the morning of January 1st, which was a nice touch (I'm not sure they have it on regular days).Service-wise - there were several issues. The made-to-order eggs station was manned by one of the slowest persons on Earth which resulted in getting our eggs after we've already finished the breakfast.Coffee was also very slow to arrive (and not so good when it finally did).Notice that the hotel does not allow Gold members to have their breakfast at the restaurant (but rather only in the mediocre Club lounge), and the price for breakfast is 27 Euros per person, which is totally over the top, so make sure it is included in your rate."

See my hotel review. They tried to rip us off by charging a la carte prices when I ordered the buffet.

Restaurant is part of Marriott. It's ok. Food quality is ok but service is very poor. Variety is French and English. Would not go out of my way to go there.

We like to sit outside and have dinner at Fou. The choices are sufficient and the quality is excellent. The staff is super nice. Highly recommended although not extra cheap. Ver carta

Sehr leckeres und gutes (Hotel- Frühstück mit viel Auswahl an frischen Lebensmitteln am Buffet. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Eier werden einem nach Wunsch zubereitet und serviert. Gerne wieder!

I've been to Brasserie Fou for a business lunch. They proposed their lunch menu, namely "soup of sweet potatoes, fish, drink". They served the fish: good but very small portion. We waited for a while and then discovered that the "soup" was the broth of the fish!!! what a scam!

Besides having excellent breakfasts in the restaurant, my business colleagues and I also had two dinners there. We started both dinners off with the in season fresh asparagus. It was soft, mouth-wateringly tasty - that is why we went back a second time.Their steak was also particularly good. Ver carta

We have visited here at least 10 times. We always book the executive lounge but take our breakfast downstairs. It is very busy on Sunday but the staff tries to keep up. You have plenty of options but do not expect a extra ordinary dish. However, fresh-good variety for every taste bud. The staff works the floor quickly to make adjusts to items on the buffet. As for executive lounge, limited choices and too small for the guests. Recommend eating downstairs. Never disappointed.

Actualy nothing special to write home about. Not even a single bit.Ok, I was actually rather sad. Been waiting for awhile to have the chance (and time) to visit this place as Stefan H pretty much adores it.We got an ok Alsatian Tarte Flambée (our son and I call it French Pizza by the way). I didnt choose the vegetarian one of course. The food was ok despite the wrong Pizza but the service was incredibly weird. Thus the mistake it took ages to complete the order as well.I'd probably try my luck to visit them next time - but with Vietnamese variation.

"In a 5-day stay in Cologne and as a lover of Indian cuisine, we had planned the Ginti. The visit took place on Monday to the beginning of noon. The reception was very friendly and cordial by the Lord of the House. The decor in Ginti is very modern, stylish, but also somewhat sterile and only very discreet supplements with Indian accessories. Young guests will probably find favors in the style of the institution. The place was still empty and so there was a chance to get a brief conversation with the mistress of the house. She brought us the menus, and there were Papadam with three from a culinary point of view pretty boring finished dives. We chose both a mango sauce as a drink that was thin and most likely prepared on the basis of a mango powder. Disgusting! I ordered as main dish Malai Kofta, vegetable balls in a mild curry sauce with ginger, garlic, almonds and coconut. This is not only one of my favorite Indian dishes, but it is also a dish that places higher requirements on a kitchen and therefore cannot be found in any Indian restaurant on the menu. In addition, quality and freshness can be well valued with this bowl. I ordered this dish with a higher sharpness, but not through the sauce, but ultimately through the vegetable balls themselves. The latter were produced excellently and their loose inner composition had the freshness of the preparation felt. This was undoubtedly a 5-star court. My accompaniment had opted for Tandoori King Prawn Masala, marinated royal cloves from Tandoor in a sauce with tomatoes, cashew nuts and raisins. This dish was also very tasty, rather mild and very generous in the number of shrimps. The rice was served unfavorably on an open bowl and had to measure any fragrance and aroma that could originate from cardamom capsules or spice cloves. After the main dishes were convinced, we were curious about the Indian ice cream, Kulfi. This came visually well over a carrot cut into slices, but could not be along tasteful. It was crystallized, little creamy and the aromas of the aforementioned mango powder were reappeared. Conclusion: a highly recommended Indian restaurant due to the excellent main dishes, but not yet matured in its culinary periphery. Therefore, provisionally three stars with an inclination to four."
