"of us stopped for lunch and all had a lovely meal with good service. Three of us had the plat of the day, cuttlefish and king prawns, cooked to perfection, I had the tarte tartin for dessert and follwed of with a brandy coffee....Durung the meal I tried a local dark beer was was gorgous. I also shared a carafe of Sangria which came with the ice in the glass so the full was sangria. Waiter was friendly and helpful."

This place is located in tourist central, right beside the amphitheatre. Just came for a couple cold ones so can't report of the food. Service was good. Ver carta

Un bel emplacement face aux arènes Le steak de taureau était super tendre un vrai délice idem pour le poisson et nous avons bien rigolé avec les serveuses.

Avoid this place, food is okeyish, but the service is terrible. There are many other places around this one, go elsewhere but not at Brasserie L'Aficion...

The location of this place makes it very touristy but nevertheless it is very worthwhile to take a break here and enjoy a beer or two and someting to eat. The afternoon sun was great and we spent a very enjoyable couple of hours people...watching and enjoying our beer. Good place.

We ordered for people. Most diesel were not good at all especially cabonara was horrible and tasteless. The waitress (maybe also owner) was extremely racist and rude toward us. When I told her it is really not ok to be rude and treat your...customers that way, she was dismissive and ignore everything i said. Absolutely NOT recommended anyone to go there at all.

"This restaurant is part of a hotel in a very impressive 16th century building. It looks very classy. However, the night we were there, there must have been some serious problems in the kitchen (or maybe it is always like that . We started with a shared plate of charcuterie which took a long time to arrive – how long does it take to arrange the cold meats on a plate? We then waited a very, very long time for our main courses. While waiting, we saw a dispute at another table involving the maître d’ and resulting in plates going back to the kitchen. We had both ordered duck à l’orange which came with Camargue rice. The rice appeared to have been baked in the oven and was so crisp and dry that it resembled a cereal bar. The ‘orange’ was not the usual sauce, but instead was four cubes of orange that appeared to have been scorched on a grill. They added nothing to the dish. It had been suggested that we should share a side of seasonal vegetables. These turned out to be big chunks of boiled potatoes (with rice! , a boiled root vegetable and a couple of dry artichokes. We had interchanges with two servers and the maître d – all were cold and brusque. We lived in France for more than 20 years and appreciate the fact that the French like to take their time with meals, but there is a big difference between leisurely and glacially slow. Perhaps we were there on a bad night, others seem to have had a better experience."
