excellent experience for the best price in yvoire. you will find a limited menu, but with big hits like filets de perche, tartare de boeuf or tartiflette for the lowest prices in yvoire, but with good decent execution (good fries, beautiful sauce, knife cutting, good... cocktail variation, etc.

Despite the fact that it is right at the port full of tourists, its elevated position makes it quiet and a bit away from the crowds. Very nice view of the port and lake, helpful young waiters, good salads, tasty and yummy tartines locales with...melted cheese. Very generous portions and very reasonable prices. Also possible to have just a coctail.

One shower on the boat gives time for a cold one while family queues Don't expect too much and you will be okay. Young happy friendly staff, students I reckon as they were clearly bright and I heard them cope with most languages. Good cold...beer and not at marina mark ups Food did not eat this time but did once in the past and the theme continues simple and honest

Great views but terrible service. We visited mid-week and wasn't overly busy but the glum faces of the people sitting around us should have been a giveaway. We ordered basic dishes salad, tartiflette and a bowl of chips. After 60 mins and only one...drink, the waiter never noticed our drinks were empty, we spoke to a family with small children at the next table and they had been waiting over 90 mins. We gave them another 15 mins but after seeing 2 tables leave before their food arrived we did the same.

We took our family (16, 14 and 8 year old boys and a 7 year old girl) and it was great. Reasonably priced, good food and attentive wait staff. Definitely make reservations as the place filled up quickly. We popped in right when we arrived...and made a reservation for a couple hours later, which was perfect. We were able to explore the town and work up an appetite. There is a great view of the lake but be prepared with sunglasses, hat and fan. It bright and gets very hot and there's not much option for shade.

I cannot understand some of the reviews for this place, but our own experience was great. really excellent and attentive staff, nice eating with generous portions, and very good value for money, as it has a fantastic view of the sea. the court of the...day was 24 euro for filet steak with a selection of sauces. salate and burgers were big and cheap (about 15 €), but with really high-quality ingredients. were nice too. a very good option in yvoire to lunch and I will return definitiw. many thanks to the whole team there for a great birthday dinner.

Stopped for a bite at what seemed to be a picturesque and pleasant local spot. Folks around us were receiving their meals, but 40 minutes after ordering and speaking to the manager twice, no food came only excuses. As we got up to leave half...the food order appeared. Did we receive an apology, no, did the manger offer to reduce the bill in any way, no, was the food tasty, no. It would be gracious to call this a tourist trap. It was a bad cartoon of a French establishment. I would have thought the poor treatment was due to being an American, but my friend fluent in French and living in Geneva took the lead in dealing with the staff. Forget the view and forgo this location.

Food for vegetarians...and omnivores, like tartines with bruschetta, cheese and salads or roasted Camembert with caramel and oven potatoes is served with local wine from Haute Savoie such as Crepy, or from other French regions.
